Freaking expensive but they do take great care of my parents. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I don't worry about my parents welfare at this place

This is the only retirement home in the entire brant county that has not set up an organized Covid screening process and we are two years into a global pandemic. Very poor management

This has got to be one of the most disgusting place in the area. Very poor management, staff. It is evident the company has a goal of saving money. Kitchen staff are jack of all trades. Nursing staff are lowly educated. Just enough to say, 'We have an RPN on staff.' Lack staff and resources. Pills will be dropped on the floor, picked up and handed to resident anyway. Residence will go weeks or even months without a proper bath as the tub often is in need of repair and they won't have it repaired. Costs money to repair. PSWs are doing the work of an RPN....pretend nurse. PSWs must clean rooms and toilets on 3rd floor, then feed residence at meal time because they lack cleaning staff and over work the two they have for the building and ALL villas. The public have no knowledge of this. Manager lacks managerial knowledge and presentation, but you get what you pay for I suppose. She is lowly paid. Just what the company is looking for. Several years ago, under previous management, the place was thriving. Rooms were filled, residence were happy and staff were happy. Educated and competent staff were either fired under the guise of 'restructuring' or they quit only to be replaced with uneducated, inexperienced workers who are lucky to have a job to supplement their government dependence....again....to pay them less. This place has gone down hill fast and continues to slide and no one cares. STAY AWAY If you love your loved ones, STAY AWAY. Give them the last years of their life that they deserve. This place doesn't care. They want money.

My dad stayed for 2 mths in a transitional bed and he really liked it. So much better than a nursing home though it was a bit lonely. He loved the staff. The food looked delicious.

Staff is extremely rude. They don't acknowledge you when you enter the building. When I stood there right next to the staff- they looked at me and completely ignored me. When I spoke up to ask for help- the one nurse sighed, slammed her pen down, and was very snappy with me. I wouldn't put my loved one in that place as long as they employ staff like that.

Mom lives there. We had a birthday party for her, in their guest room.Good facility. Helpful staff, we did most of it, as per normal, but any questions were quickly answered.Over the past 4 years. I've grown to appreciate this retirement home, very much. My mom is well taken care of.

Father in law has been here for a few weeks while he is waiting for a long term care bed. He likes the staff and facility very much. He's going to really miss the place.

They make up their own rules and ignore the law. Disregard power of attorneys completely. Discuss matters with unauthorized persons. Nursing department is horrible.
