Wanless Photography

Wanless Photography was recommended in the Yonge and Lawrence Parents Facebook group. We did the newborn package and just received the link to the gallery. The photos are so gorgeous and captured our family perfectly. Ela’s studio is a short walk from Lawrence station which was super convenient for us. The space is lovely, with refreshments and baby change room available. Everything was already set up for the different themes, with props warmed up by water bottles to make sure our little one was comfy. Ela was very friendly and professional and I learned the “bum wiggle” trick during the shoot that helps my son sleep now! We love our family portraits and highly recommend Wanless Photography.

Ela is awesome! We went for our newborn photoshoot and ended up having a lot of family photos with both my kids. The photos turned out great and i am very happy with my decision to go with Ela for newborn photoshoot. I will cherish these photos forever!!

We couldn’t recommend Ela enough for newborn photoshoot! Her space is very welcoming and comfortable. She also did an amazing job calming our baby who was quite fussy for the first part of our session. We are so pleased with our photos and are so glad that we will have these to look back on for years to come!

I was looking for timeless newborn photos when I tumbled on Ela’s instagram account. Her location (Lawrence and Yonge) was a bonus for me as I would be scared to drive highways with my newborn at the back of the car. When I inquired her availability and services, she responded within 24 hours. She was very flexible to accommodate my schedule as my son was born 6 weeks earlier than the EDD.She made us feel comfortable/at home during the photoshoot. Our son was fussy on that day and Ela was very patient in capturing his best features. She did not give up on making our Son sleep/calm down to get the best photos. She even changed the diaper as she was scared that our son would get rashes. She volunteered to dress our son after the photoshoot.Her studio is clean and organized. It’s cold (only hiccup) during the session because it’s in her basement. She was prepared to provide two heater fans for our son to feel comfortable.As first time parents, Ela is the best person to work with as she is a parent herself. She has the empathy towards new parents and she loves babies. During the photoshoot, I felt her passion and love towards her work. To conclude my review, our photos turned out beyond expectations.

Absolutely loved the photos Ela took of my nephew.I purchased a newborn package for my sister's first child and she loved the work and experience.Ela was great with the baby, very patient, experienced and respectful of the parents wishes and also accommodating to their and the baby's schedule.Ela was able create the photos to my sister's vision.
