This is a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and everyone is very friendly, not once did I get a vibe of being judged. Wahida is such a sweetheart and made my hair look absolutely beautiful. She's very understanding, very gentle and highly knowledgeable. She made my fine hair look thicker than what it actually is. I couldn't be more thankful for coming here and meeting her!! I can't wait to come back, thank you SO much for everything!!!

Never coming here again. i got a colour completely different from what I had asked for, i wanted steps throughout the length of my hair, I got only front ones, i had felt already the hairstylist doesnt know how to do a haircut.

Went for a trim and fade. Zara did her absolute best when cutting my hair. She did an amazing job with the fade. Thanks Halo Hair Studio for hooking me up with a wicked hair cut.

You know you had a bad hair service when you have to fix it yourself.I booked Rose (co-owner) senior hair artist 2 weeks in advance of my appointment. Went to the salon the day of my appointment and saw she was double booked. In order to cover two appointments I get stuck with a new person. The only thing the senior artist did was give me a trim (which was also rushed). The rest of the service(wash, blow dry and style) was done by someone that seemed like they were on training. I was not once asked if it was okay for the person on training to provide me with the service. If I’m paying for a senior artist I should get the full proper service. I walked out of the salon with a trim, frizzy dry hair ( no products used btw not even hair spray) that cost me $79.Definitely not be going here again nor recommending it to anyone.

I had a service here in July 2022, it was amazing my hair was exactly what I wanted and healthy. I came back in November 2022 and to this day my hair hasn't recovered. It was suppose to be balayage and roots to cover my grays, ended up with all my natural hair colour and roots being lifted to strawberry/orange in the process. It looked fine styled when I left at 9pm in the dark. The next morning trying to do it for an event my roots were all patchy with my natural colour and the lifted sections. Everything was splotchy and brassy. My bangs are all over processed and gummy despite having a conditioning treatment done. Finally after some back and forth they re-did my roots as a fix" for the splotchy strawberry/brass. Its March now

Very pleased with my first visit to Halo Hair Studio. Great experience from booking right through to the finished style due to friendly, professional staff.My stylist/colorist was a lovely young woman named Wahida. She had her work cut out for her with my covid hair that went uncut and largely ignored for a year. She was not daunted by it at all. In addition, Wahida offered me some excellent ideas for how to approach coloring going forward as more and more grey hair encroach. I appreciated that.Love the colour and cut! Very satisfied.Wahida is also an interesting conversationalist; well informed on a wide range of subjects. I am hoping to enjoy her company for many more visits in the future.The salon was very clean, and covid precautions were observed well.I would recommend Halo Hair Studio without reservation.

I absolutely love going to Kim at Halo. I decided to colour my hair this time, and she really took the time to walk me through my colour choices and what to expect from them. And you just can't beat the scalp massage you get even she washes your hair.
