We hired Marigolds and Onions to cater a party in early December. We went with them because they have some decent reviews.Kari Rosen was our account representative. We were looking forward to working with her but from the outset, it was clear that she had better things to do than helping us. Kari Rosen was rude, seemed to avoid providing information and performed poorly in coordinating with us.Usually the first phone call with a business, the representative will be nice and want to promote the service/products. But we didn't get this at all from Kari Rosen. The first phone call with her she came across being annoyed and made us feel like we were wasting her time. Her responses were curt, unfriendly and were not very informative.Even though she gave us a poor first impression, we still went with Marigolds because of generally good reviews.The first issue was the first two payments were not collected as scheduled and there was no communication from her. This made us think that whether our event was booked or not.The second issue was when I called to chase down information that she wasn't providing me, I asked her if she had a minute, she said in a rude and condescending way, literally said: I have one minute for you". This is a very poor customer relations.We were trying to plan our event and needed information from her which was lacking. Here are a few examples:1. "Will the food be arriving with the wait staff at 530pm?""No

I ordered from Marigolds & Onions' Home Meal Package for lunch for 6 people. The food was amazing, delicious and well enjoyed by all of us. The salads, entrees and sides arrived fresh, hot and ready to serve. I still have left overs!! They are so easy to deal with from order to delivery. Professional and courteous. I highly recommend them and will definitely order again for my next events small and large.

I used Marigolds and Onions for my wedding in May at Madison Greenhouse! The food was delicious, multiple guests let me know it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding! The staff was wonderful; funny, attentive and accommodating. They helped make the whole day just seamless. I would highly recommend using Marigolds & Onions for any event, you will be in great hands!Thanks again :)

M&O's food is simply amazing! We ordered the chipotle beef, the forest mushroom strudel and the roasted apple stuffed chicken, all the guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious the food was, how tender and soft was the meat, that it just melted in your mouth. Personally I loved the appetizers, specially the fried mac & cheese on a stick. The service was very professional and flawlessly executed.

We used Marigolds & Onions for my daughters wedding Oct, 2021 and it was amazing so we went with them again for our companies 25th anniversary party with 250 people attending. Jordan was so helpful on both occasions. He customized our menu which was hors d'oeuvres served all evening and the guests commented how tasty they were. Suggested the drinks and amount we needed, arranged our tent as the party was outside, furnishings etc. Jordan & Staff were a pleasure to work with. I experienced the food service by Marigolds and Onions at the Canadian Open. Overpriced, poor service, 30 minute wait after ordering, no refunds for unfilled orders

Had the Opportunity to have Marigolds & Onions Cater our wedding. We worked alongside Amy Brown, which was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was so detailed oriented. I would high recommend! Food was absolutely delicious, and every wedding guest wouldn’t stop talking about how amazing the food was!

Marigolds & Onions catered a Sunday brunch this past week. We did a buffet style continental breakfast (pastries and fresh fruit) for 50 people. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The pastries were fresh and really tasty (the muffins are to die for). The fruit was gorgeously presented and delicious and fresh. The food was delivered on time on beautiful large white platters, which they picked up the next morning. The entire process went smoothly, as they responded quickly to every email I sent with questions.

We used Marigolds and Onions for our recent wedding and their food is nothing short of amazing! Everything tasted spectacular and all our guests raved about the food. We worked with Amy and she was super helpful and patient with all our questions and guiding us in our planning. Their attention to detail is perfect and they were very helpful with choosing options for our guests with food allergies and intolerances. I would highly recommend hiring this wonderful company for any event!
