Spectacular Water Systems

I have used spectacular water systems for eight years and had been very happy untill i had a warranty issue. I purchased a UV bulb as i had done each year for the past 8 years. The bulb only lasted 1 week, when i called them for a replacement they said if i did not have the cash register receipt they would not warranty it. I could not find the receipt but offerd an electronic copy of my bank statement proving the bulb had been purchased from them the previous week on my debit card but that was not acceptable to them. The 19th century attitude insisting on a paper receipt as prooof of purchase rather than an electronic receipt was unbelievable especially when the person i was talking to was the person who sold me the bulb as she put the purchase date and her initials on the cardboard the bulb came in . I will never deal with this company again. Bottom line companies are only as good as their warranties and this one gets a failing grade

Had our softener installed by them about 2 years ago. Have been extremely impressed with the quality of the water. What a difference it makes. Also had an high efficiency RO installed on the same day. Installation was professional and timely. Peter was very knowledgeable and friendly, following up multiple times to help fix our RO (which was actually a manufacturing defect). Will recommend to friends and family.

I've used SWS to purchase filters and UV bulbs for my home water systems for the 8 years I've lived in this house, and I dread every encounter. I have never had a pleasant experience with them, even when just purchasing filters in store. First of all, the customer service staff always seem confounded at my presence in their store, like they can't believe I came in to buy water filters? Then, despite my showing up with a detailed list of which filters and quantities of each that I need, knowing how to get them, and having two perfectly capable hands on me, they always insist on slowing the process down by looking me up in their system and then telling me which filters I need as if I didn't already know. This year when I walked in, the first question I was asked was whether he" gave me part numbers

We have been using Spectacular for years now, and just had them in to upgrade things in our newest home. We have worked with many contractors and they are among the very best we have dealt with. We will keep using them as long as we are in their trading area.

Just (November 29, 2022) got a call from someone saying that SWS did some work for me in 2018 and that I owe them money. Invoice says PAID on it. Total bill is $99. This company did not perform any work for me.

So frustrated! We hired spectacular water systems to treat out well. They quoted us $2,500 and after installing it our water was unsafe. We ended up spending $8,500 by the time they were done upgrading the system to make the water drinkable. After a year things broke and I found a puddle of chlorine in my basement leaking out of the injector. They refused to send someone by to service it and instead told me to read the manual and fix it myself, even though I bought the more expensive system with the 10 year warranty. Please save yourself a lot of trouble and go with a professional company that won't leave you without safe drinking water!!!

Hired them to supply and install extensive equipment to handle our well water. After several attempts to have it work as expected, we had to hire someone else to complete the work. Very unprofessional as the process extended to sort out the issues.Update - here is a photo of our drinking water bulk tank in our house a month after Peter installed his water treatment system. That is iron bacteria. We ended up having to hire another company to replace much of the equipment he installed, and reconfigure the treatment process to effectively treat our water. Run as far away as possible from this place. It's a small community and a shame he treats people this way.

Zero stars if I could and they are not very spectacular, had sws install a water filter to discover 2 days later that it was leaking. I phoned then and left a message to get no response . 2 more messages later and still no response. For 3 weeks I had to put a bucket under the filter so that it wouldn’t ruin my finished basement. I called their competition and they came out the same day. He removed the filter and said that the filter is substandard. Problem solved , sws had very poor products and poor workmanship. 0 stars . Stay as far away as possible….

First time at the store, asked for water softern solar salt fromthe female at the desk and had ignorant male staff walk by and make remarks about the low quality salt I was asking for (his opinion) was told as he walked by to go get it from the grocery store. I have only ever purchased quality solar salt from repupital water softener stores....will never go back or recommend this store. Very poor experience. Ignorant staff..not helpful and opinated

Just had a service call to replace filters. excellent service. The Technician was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. He tested the water and advised a new membrane. I would highly recommend them.
