Celtic Rendezvous By The Sea RV Park

This place is getting up graded but.... Wow what a place.beautiful. right on the water. Whales come in the cove almost every day. Right now if you're booking a spot ,they will give you detection on how to get there. We fell into this place just by luck. A must see place.

Beautiful spot to spend some time on a vacation. Cottage was clean and well appointed. Not to far away from St John's.

I was there for a 50th high school reunion and it was exceptional in the quality of the cabins… loved this place and hope to go back again. Well done Celtic Rendezvous.

We stayed in the cabins and had a lot of issues with this place. The view is beautiful but the place is very dated. Dishes weren't properly washed when we got in (the previous tenant is supposed to wash them but clearly did not, just put them away). Cobwebs all over the outdoor chairs. Multiple windows missing screens, one bedroom window could not close properly unless closed from outside. Biggest issue was the wifi. We switched our initial cabin location specifically because we needed reliable wifi. I called and they said they had great and reliable wifi. once we got there the network was rarely discoverable. Between all 4 of us It never worked in the bedrooms during our entire week stay, and only about 30% of the time would work in the living room. Data worked fine so it is specificly an issue with their wifi system not a reception issue. This caused us massive issues and I wouldn't be writing a review if the wifi was even slightly manageable.It's an ok spot with an amazing view but it is very old inside, not well maintained at all, and has no wifi. It's not terrible but not worth the price being so far from the city in the state it is in. A one night stay or a stay at the RV park might be nice but I do not recommend an extended stay in the cabins. I would personally never go back. Really surprised by the reviews of this place.

No washrooms no shower. Construction everywhere. They are not ready to be open.

We stayed in the RV park for four nights and loved every minute! We were lucky to get site six, closest to the ocean and the views are simply spectacular! We watched puffins and other seabirds, and saw whales multiple mornings below the cliff. There is a huge communal fire pit and the owner brings up heaps of wood every day, so bring along your chair and drink and get to know people from all over the world. Full hookups, level site, not much privacy, but we didn't really care - everyone was down at our end of the campground admiring the view.We used this as our base to explore St Johns and the Avalon Peninsula.Would we stay here again? HELL YES!

Quite, great view, very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed here for a week in our RV out on the cliff facing the cove and the islands. There are about 10 sites - all fairly level. Did day trips every day up and down the east coast - great home base for that.

Nice and clean and the views are spectacular! We booked 2 cabins with friends and were disappointed that there were no staples such as salt/pepper, tea bags/coffee etc there. No complaints at all... But would be nice to see these things added. We would definately recommend this place.

This is an excellent facility. The RV area has a dozen sites which are all full service sites. There is WiFi and it is a very strong signal. The sites are high up on the bluff and overlook the bay and the islands. There is a laundry as well. The people operating the campground are very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel because you can see the forbidden pp island and I would like to say because of this hotel now I can see why what happens there gets removed/destroyed the next day. It’s such a shame that there is always people moving on the island near here but they are always getting nuked. Please don’t do this Canada!
