Empire Barber Shop

I recently moved to Ancaster and was looking a nice barber service in the neighborhood. I came across this place online by checking their review online where I learnt that most of the customers are very happy with the service and giving 5 stars and have very few customers with low stars and ever after reading their feedback was not convinced as a new client.I had to take a try to a new place anyways so I called in this place yesterday around 6pm for the hair cut for my son and myself and was answered very professionally and politely at the front desk.They close at 7:30pm and I was thinking that they will give me time for some other day whichever is available but they offered me to come to their place around 6:45pm.At first I thought this place might not have any business and are sitting free or second since this time is right after the new year so most of the people have got this service already that's why they might be free. I had to take a try anyways so went to this place along with my son, very first thing I noticed that this place is huge and very clean and have many barbers working there and every barber is busy and there are people waiting to be served.We arrived there on our given time and right after 2 barbers finished with their clients we were taken, both of us myself and my son were not sure what kind of service we might be getting but once both of us were done had the same feedback.5 STAR SERVICEI am so happy to find this place who are really professionals and provide a very nice and clean service at a very competitive rates.Great job guys, keep it up and you are my barber place for life!

Super quick and easy cut. I didn’t ask for anything intricate and received a simple cut. Guy was cool, felt that I was tired and let the conversation die off which I always appreciate. I’ll be back for sure.Edit: K, looked at my head when I got home and it looked like I tried to fight with a lawn mower and lost. 1 star.

Now was great he was so good he made me bald so nice that is could see no hair. It was the greatest experience of my life. He was so great with the hair and the cutters he was like a magician 5 stars

They are consistently decent. They do an amazing job with short hair. Anytime my son wants a short cut, they do great.But, he often grows his hair long and shaggy, and the longer cuts are very okay" ... in their defence though

Chris was absolutely amazing with my son. My son has coarse, wavy, thick hair and Chris knew exactly how to cut it! Talked my son through every step of the process and taught us how to style it. 10/10 experience - the best haircut he’s ever had !

I'm so glad I found this place a few years ago. It's always a great experience right from the time when calling to book an appointment. Whether you talk with Shannon or Hayley - each of these receptionists are super friendly and helpful to fit you in at a time that works for you.I have had Ibrahim cut my hair for years now. He is a gentleman, very friendly and highly skilled at his craft. Some might think that a stylist who is really fast isn't doing a good job and not taking the necessary time - but when you are really good at what you do you can work very fast and still produce great results.If you have things on your mind ( mentally going over your shopping list of stops on the way home) or just need a quiet break from your thoughts, Ibrahim will quietly cut your hair and keep conversation to a minimum. But if you're up for a chat about sports - or the weather - or the price of food and gas, he is a great person to have a quick chat with.I'm sure the other fella's are equally good but I'm just very, very pleased with my experiences with Ibrahim.

Just had my first haircut here and I will definitely be back, great service and a fantastic cut from Chris. Highly recommended.

Satisfied with hair cuts but since reopening after Covid the price for a senior cut has increased from $20 to $26. That is a 30% increase which in my opinion is greedy!

Excellent. Very professional hair dressers. Moe was working like an artisan deeply involved in his Art! Loved seeing him work! Will go back definitely! Highly recommended for people who have problem finding a regular hair dresser. This is it, guys!
