I've been seeing Gary at the Summerside location for an issue with stiff toe joint. It can be quite painful. I first of all chose Remedial Wellness because after doing my research I discovered they provide 2 types of Shockwave with every visit. They can treat with both Radial and Focal Shockwave. Each helping in slightly different ways. I've had 4 treatments now and the pain has been relieved I'd say 95%. Also, they don't just treat the main area of pain, but they treat secondary problem areas (i.e.: sore foot can effect your knees, etc) Because they look at secondary areas, it tells me they really care about making you feel better. Gary obviously really cares and when I called him one day, he returned my call and answered my questions. I feel that with Gary's help I can avoid more invasive treatments. Their client is professional, friendly and the experience has been very positive. Gary is so professional and he doesn't rush and talks to you, explaining, etc.I am very impressed with Remedial Wellness and I would recommend this client and their Shockwave to my family & friends.

I have seen Dr. Lacina for Chiro as well as Shockwave. She was very thorough and explained every step to me so I understood what she was doing and why! I tore my ACL a few years back and I learned how it was not only affecting my knee but also my hip and ankle! I definitely recommend seeing her! I have also seen Jocelyn for massage and Ella for facials and had a very relaxing experience with both of them! Everyone was very nice and I 100% recommend this place

I had initially gone to see Uran for a massage several years ago. He told me he'd be happy to do a massage (I had INSANE back pain, I could only lay down flat to curb some of the pain - sitting and standing was excruciating), but he'd love to try Shockwave Therapy on me. I gave it a go, and after the first session (literally, immediately after) I felt relief. After 2 more sessions I was basically cured! I went back a few months later just to make sure everything was healing properly! I was amazed. Shockwave is no joke, it saved me! As for other treatments at Remedial - I've had acupuncture (for sinus inflammation), massages, as well as aesthetician treatments and all have been well worth the money. You won't be disappointed with your treatments here!

Have been visiting Remedial for a year now. Originally went to see Uran for shockwave therapy with my foot. He was able to determine my hips were unaligned due to my SCM not fully working after a severe concussion. He referred me to a NUCCA Specialist who I had no idea existed. Instead of fixing the trouble area, we went above and beyond to figure out what the main problem is.I have also been seeing Dr. Maio for acupuncture and she has been amazing. Not only did she assist with my post concussion symptoms but continues to help with continued overall health. Every time I get sick, instead of taking medicine, she is able to do a treatment and make me feel 100 times better. She has rare acupuncture talents hard to find in Canada. Highly recommend her!

Shockwave treatment is the miracle I was looking for. I don't say that lightly. I couldn't sleep on my shoulder for over a year, the chronic pain kept me from boxing and made working at my desk agony. The Doctors gave me many pain killers cortisone shots and considered surgery, I tried IMS, acupuncture and everything I could find. I was at the end of the line with my shoulder having tried everything out there and spending an also painful amount of money on trying to improve mobility and reduce the pain. I called and booked a shockwave appointment with Gary. Gary was great and listened to my concerns. Having been to countless physical therapy places it wasn't my first bbq explaining my pain and the last thing I needed was 10 more exercises to do. Gary understood that totally and was optimistic about being able to help me. Shockwave was like magic after the first treatment I experienced incredible relief. After 3 treatments I can sleep on my left side, never mind I started boxing again. Attentive, welcoming & medical wizardry - Dr. Kat single handedly helped guide me through my depression in a natural and longevity oriented fashion. This woman may have saved my life. I am forever grateful for Naturopathic Medicine & the outstanding education they are under appreciated in knowing. Beyond that, the place itself is a bit of a maze to walk to - but the many receptionists & any other customers I've seen has been of equal pleasantry to cross paths with. Highly recommend!
