Jim was absolutely fantastic, both professionally and personally. He showed up just a couple minutes early, never kept us waiting for anything. He introduced us to the new employee he was training, Chris, and gave a clear explanation of what they would be doing and the sorts of things they were looking for, as well as how certain things might appear in the report and what that meant for us as homebuyers. Both Jim and Chris were extremely competent and efficient, completing the inspection in soundly under the time estimate they'd given us at the beginning, and Jim's explanations of things like using thermal imaging to look for poorly insulated spots in the walls, and how to inspect and maintain the furnace were clear, concise, and helpful. I would recommend A Buyer's Choice in a heartbeat to anyone looking for peace of mind when going into a home purchase.
