Settling in a city like Toronto for a new immigrant like me would not have been this seamless if i had not met this gem of a person called Arun Morris.For the ones who think you can survive here by watching you-tube videos and information online on settlement process, please think again. I was one of them who came here thinking i can do it all alone , trust me it is not easy. i was staying in AIR-BNB for 1 month with no job( regardless of your skill level,it is not easy to find a job without good network, unless you want to work in a warehouse) and no landlord was ready to rent as i had no credit history.This was when i got to know about SAT and met Arun Morris.Since then, its all been a walk in the park for me.Its been just over 2 months since i landed in Canada and here i am, working in one of the big 5 banks, living in a decent house and now own a Car. We arrived on 23rd June in Toronto. After coming out from the airport, Arun chetan was there waving hands at us, a fast walking man, as some people say successful people walk fast, there he was in front of us for the first time. He immediately took the luggage trolley from me, the feeling you get when you land in a different country and meet a family member is exactly what you feel when you meet him. He doesn’t treat you like a client or somebody who pays him for the service he is offering, he treats you like an elder brother who smiles and tells you don’t worry – “mein hoon naa!” same was Mr Arun Morris for us.As we entered our basement, we were overwhelmed to see food on our table; our tired kids had juices, cakes, fruits to eat and so on. We literally held back our tears seeing this gesture of his especially after the flight we had. We will only realize the value of all this when we are there physically present in that very moment.The following week, he asked me how my job applications was going and I informed him it was ok, so he shared with me a link and asked me to share my resume and that he shall provide reference. I applied, like all other jobs, and trust me in half an hour I receive a call from the recruiter asking me of the job application and to set up a virtual interview the next day. Following day after the interview, I was offered the position and the recruiter informed me that background verifications would begin. Once again Arun Morris magic.All these people who have written their reviews here have been influenced by Arun chetan in one way or the other. Yes he charges for the service he provides, but you can take my word for it, the cost you will incur in your initial days here in travel, first day of food, finding an accommodation etc. is almost the same as what you pay him. But here, you have an advantage – Arun Morris. 2 days ago, we finished our quarantine and on the same day he took us to open our bank accounts, plus we got our health cards issued and on this day of writing this review, I received my offer letter for my first job in Canada and all this happened in a span of 17 days..!So many people, so many life experiences.. much more to come.. We moved to Canada in March 2018 and we utilized Arun's services through Settle At Toronto (SAT) as we needed help in settling in a new country as we did not have any close relatives to rely on. I appreciate all the work he has been doing for the newcomers in Toronto and helping them settle into their lives seamlessly.Also, I would like to mention that it is very sad and hurting to see competitors targeting Settle at Toronto through coordinated negative reviews on Google instead of competing with their services. It is unethical to do so and I would appreciate the competitors to compete by providing services with the same personal attention that Arun Morris gives to his clients. Having said that, it is impossible to beat SAT as you can provide services but cannot be as passionate as Arun Morris is in helping new immigrants. SaT is one of the best thing that happened to me in my life. Being a newbie to Canada me and my family were in total chaos as to how to go about things. To begin with, a house is what everyone who is migrating to Canada will be aiming for first and I had started my hunt 2 months before landing. I tried different realtors but all in vain until one week before my landing date when I came across Mr Arun Morris and his SaT team. He was able to find me a house as per my need within 2 days which no other realtors were able to find in 2 months. He called me almost everyday before I started my journey from India giving me constant tips and instructions on the things I need to buy/carry during my travel and also a briefing about the immigration process which made my landing tension free and with ease. The day I got to know about Mr. Arun Morris was when I was back in India, waiting to get my PR. I finally moved to Canada in May last week with my husband. We started our search to find job on our own with alot of enthusiasm thinking with such good profiles it wont be an issue for us to find a job here. However soon the enthusiasm started to fade off and stress kicked in. We were applying for numerous jobs day in and day out, but no luck whatsoever. We moved to Canada two years back and we used the service of SAT. We could still say that it was a very good decision we took. It is true that many services are free here, but in a country where you are extremely new and have none of your friends or relatives, with no car, no place to stay etc, SAT takes care of everything. From the moment you land in airport, to get you an apartment, until you get a survival job... And Morris is really friendly and treats you like a family member. A big kudos to Mr. Arun Morris and the team at SAT for an excellent and beyond description post landing service delivered. A little introduction about myself, My name is Sharon Lazar Sajan. I had originally came to Canada as a student and due to certain reasons had to go back to India after completing my studies. When I received my PR, I searched for post landing services and talked with a couple of them and none drew my attention as that of the services offered by Mr. Arun. In my conversation with him, I realized he was a very energetic and enthusiastic individual who wants to deliver the best services possible and go the extra mile for all of the individuals or couples that decide to take his service.I came to Canada in the month of July; regarding my journey I was hesitant to do it at this time because I was worried of not being able to find a proper accommodation or job (my main concerns) due to Covid. Even more amazing was the fact that he helped me apply for SIN number and bank account opening from the comfort of my own place during quarantine and I received my sin number and bank cards before I even finished my quarantine through post.Another interesting fact, which I’m sure everyone will be interested to know, is the fact that he arranged for me three interviews and gave me contacts of two possible hiring guys all in the first week of my quarantine itself. Of which I was able to pass and secure two job offers. The hiring manager told me personally that there were a lot of resumes in the backlog and mine would possibly have been towards the end but due to Arun sir’s reference and recommendation he took a look at my resume and decided to give me a call. Now isn’t that wonderful? Who wouldn’t want to have a job as soon as he/she finishes their quarantine? I’m currently working at a location all thanks to Arun sir and I have another job interview lined up for next week again only through the contacts he graciously shared with me. So one thing I Can guarantee to everyone is that if he tell you that “HE’S GOT IT & NO NEED TO WORRY”, then relax, trust in him and follow his instructions. On the day my quarantine got over he took me to apply for the health card, and gave me all necessary details that I should take care of while working and living in Canada.While I write this testimonial for him and his extra-mile services, I think back and imagine what would have happened if I had decided that since I was in Canada as a student and lived here I know how Canada works and I know the job market I wouldn’t need any help except for finding an accommodation. If I had done that I would still be looking for a job with my resume still possibly stuck under a huge pile of other resumes. I’m only too grateful for him and the way he has and is still treating me as a family. He regularly calls me and checks up on me about my well being and if I need any help still, I know that I need only ask him and he will come even in the middle of the night. His services as he humbly says is for lifetime and not just for immediate situations. I respect him deeply and he’s a person who doesn’t see this as business but this is him helping people. So my advice to anyone who’s considering to take his services is GO FOR IT. You won’t have to worry about a single thing, he will take care of you beyond your imagination.
