Subway is a dying brand overall, but this one seems to stay lively within Port Elgin. Food is okay; service is meh because the sandwich artists seem so dead inside (honestly, I don't blame them).

Terrible service. I completed an online order, was charged for the order to my credit card and the order was not completed. They said they had no knowledge of the order even though I could show the order email confirmation with the right store for pickup. The server was completely lost and just told me to reorder. There is no number to call for support. I had to open a service request with subway online. The servers were just passive and unhelpful and helpless. I will not order ever again from Subway or give service to this location

I have not had a sub in months heardcabout the new subs they have created . I went with the brisket it was terrible it was chewy and no flavor I spent $22 on a combo the chips were really good and dr pepper will be good too but I won't be back for awhile.

Went for breakfast. Sausage and egg used to be 4 rounds for a foot long now we were served 2 round for whole foot long broken in half. Not how all other subways do it and paid 24 for 2 subs. Understand lettuce shortage but I should get what standard to subway sandwiches and not be ripped off because manager changes food prep rules.

Subway used to be good, the last time I went, my boyfriend sub had barely nothing on it, but it doesn't matter what we say on here, they will never see it. Its for the customer eyes I guess. They just care about getting payed, and not caring about the people who comes in. It's cheaper to make it your self, and you get what you want, and always get a smile at the end.

Subway is good but this location isn't great. Employees don't wear hairnets, had a hair on my sub. Also doesn't seem like they really care about what they're doing as they don't press the sandwich in to close it, and end up wasting/throwing out food that gets dropped. Additionally, the ends of the sandwich hardly ever have meat on it (I get tuna) due to just a lack of overall meat even though they've raised the prices for footlongs. Old subway down by the gas station was miles better than this new one by Mary Browns.

I've come to accept that you can't expect miracles based on the price you pay. But the last couple visits have solidified why I never cared for this joint. My family ordered 4 subs for dinner. 2 subs toasted, 2 were not. The toasted sub buns crumbled like sawdust and the fresh not toasted buns made a lovely knocking sound when you tapped on them. These buns were beyond stale. And then there is the matter of the meat, or lack there of. All of our sandwiches had 50% less meat than what we would normally see, but hey the lettuce filled that void. Based on the other sandwich options around town, I think I will support local from here on. No need to feed chain restaurants any longer. Customer satisfaction is no longer their priority.

Use to love this location but last two times customer service has lacked drastically. Tried to scan my points card since I eat at subway quite regularly. Lady at the counter could not figure out how to scan my card. She then asks me to pay, I told her if I paid prior my points would not be added on to my card, she asked me to pay anyways and at this point I’m in a rush since I’m on lunch. Asked her once she gave me my sub if my points were added, she says “yes” asked if my $2 off was redeemed, she said “yes”. Asked for my receipt and stated none of the above was accurate. At least if you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t lie. Also found a long black hair in my sub, I’m sure from the lack of hair net that was used while making my sub.
