Had a wonderful experience at 8 Corners! I loved the remote location as it felt like an adventure getting there. It was also very calm and the vibes were chill. The building is sitting right off the water so there's a great view of the lake and mountains. The service staff was very welcoming and friendly made me and my partner feel cozy and comfy. The food was delicious and I liked that it felt homemade and fancy compared to being made elsewhere and shipped in.All in all, a great experience, would highly recommend!

It's unbelievable that their fabulous afternoon tea towel was not just tasty but made with quality organic ingredients! Tha fantastic nature scene over the glass wall is a huge plus!It was a great discover for our family trip in Vancouver trip this year and we will definitely visit again to try their quality tea options (and the rest of food menu).

I was looking for a nice afternoon tea place and did some research to find out 8 Corners. Their photos on Google well represent what you’d get from the afternoon tea experience. Id say this is a best hidden gem i found recently. Stunning view, great selection of teas. Well explained finger foods and great staff as well. This place seems that it’d be nice for a wedding. The price for the afternoon tea is reasonable but dont forget you also get the view and inner peace.

Outstanding.Being a coffee and big portions guy, I was very pleased how much I enjoyed this afternoon tea. The tea was great and the food was fantastic. We enjoyed every bit. The staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The setting is surreal and it does not feel like you are anywhere near Vancouver. I even made the mistake of selecting the wrong date and they were more than accommodating making the change to the date that I intended to book.

Most calming place I have ever been to for lunch. Had high tea here and everything was excellent. Tea, sandwiches, and scones were all made with the freshest ingredients. Best tea I have ever had. Service was attentive and excellent. The view was awesome. Would highly recommend this tea house and will go back again when we are in BC again. Thank you for a great experience.

They’re only open 2 days a week from 11am to 4pm so make sure that you visit them during that time! They have authentic green tea imported all the way from South Korea and it clearly shows that they really care about their tea and knows their stuff. The owner came out multiple times during our time there to ask how we were enjoying the tea and the sandwiches. Do t get me wrong, they can be a bit pricy but I think the whole experience is well worth it.It takes a bit of an effort to make it out there but it only adds to the charm of the place. I would love to try out their high tea experience next time!

A hidden gem for sure! There is a giant sign on the road on the way that says do not enter but if u are a guest at the restaurant it's ok to pass. The food is great and the location is amazing.

Please check their website and READ through everything. This is not your commercial high tea cafe located on a big street. It's literally located deep inside a park and make reservations online. Very unique experience away from the city life. Just the drive alone is an experience. The food was ok though. The atmosphere and surrounding makes it worth it. The building next door seems to be a wedding venue too!

This place was amazing, I didn't even know it existed in all the times I have been to Sasamat Lake! The food was very fresh and high quality. The mint and hibiscus tea was absolutely delicious. I am not able to eat dairy but I really wanted a dessert and they baked me a special vegan matcha scone, it was so tasty! The view is beautiful! I will be going there again!

I hope this little gem continues to be here. While I was working around the area in the past, I knew of this Tea Room from their customers at the parking lot. They recommended I go one day.Fast forward a few years later, as I could never get a chance to go at the right time, I finally got to experience this place.I wasn't feeling in the best of moods, and going for some tea might lift up my day.The place was fully packed upon going through the doors. We didn't had a pre-booking, but they welcomed us as walk-ins. They took us to a nice quiet room. The serene view is a perfect match with the tea.The servers, Lenna(?) And Jeanie, were very welcoming, sweet and kind. Lenna took the time to introduce us to their types of teas and food. I couldn't decide the different types of tea. The tea steeper was amazing, they gave us a taste of a few kinds of teas they had.The Mid Spring green tea color was light but the taste still strong, the description of taste matched their menu. It suited the rainy day.Our favorite at the time was probably Hibiscus Mint. The Hibiscus was refreshing as a cold brew, sour but with the hint of Mint aftertaste. I wanted to take this home but this was made in-house.We tried their fresh in-house sourdough as a sandwich, the BC. Loved the sourdough, it was moist and fluffy. In Coquitlam, or the Tri-cities, I don't see many special tea leaf stores. It seems quite rare around here.Thank you to the team for being so welcoming and accommodating. I will definitely go back again.
