I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We stayed here for one night on a last minute booking. I found our room to be clean (but somewhat dated which is not a concern to me) and the bed comfortable. And the price was very reasonable -- 150$ all in.A special note about the staff. I found the staff, both front desk and breakfast crew, to be very polite and helpful. One the negative side, to echo some of the other reviews:- The elevator is broken and has been broken for months. There was no way I was going to lug 4 suitcases and a bunch of bags up the stairs after a whole day of traveling, so we asked for a room on the main floor. The front desk staff were understanding and offerd us a free upgrade for a bigger room on the main floor.- The breakfast is not the best (but I've had worse). I especially didn't like the scrambled eggs". On the bright side there was bacon.- The AC in the room doesn't work well. Fortunately it was a cool night so we were able to sleep comfortably with the windows open.- There's no airport shuttle

Dated rooms, but good layout. Completely unhelpful kitchen and check-in staff. Bothering us about bring food to our hotel room, wouldn’t even try to provide cutlery upon request. Also stated they were “fully booked” and couldn’t spare any blankets. What hotel has NO spare linens? To me, it just felt lazy. If it wasn’t lazy, it’s poor management to not have solutions available.

The staff was so incredibly lazy. The got grumpy at me for bringing breakfast to the too; I had three little kids who were still sleeping, and they complained I was creating extra work for them by bringing the plates upstairs. They told me that I was wrong when I told them the lights were out upstairs and I had to bring them up to show them. They asked me to come down and get lotion when I asked for it instead of bringing it up. When I asked if they had an extra spoon they told me they didnt have any - same with extra blankets. Seemed more like they were too lazy to grab them than that they actually didn't have any.The location wasn't pretty but it was convenient. It was close to a bunch of places to grab food and 10 minutes drive from downtown. The drive was super easy too. The rooms were really nice and classy as well.

My family and I stayed at the Country Inn and Suites by Raddison in early May 2023. It was a great price for a one night stay. But I was very disappointed in the hotel amenities. The room was very warm. No AC at all, my son barely slept because it was 27 degrees. The pool was very dirty and had sand at the bottom of it. They didn’t have a vending machine for water or pop. They did sell pop at the front desk but no water. When we called down twice to bring a crib up to our room we never received it. Luckily we brought a play and pack as a back up.The two positives of our stay were the friendly staff but they seemed very busy and the nice breakfast of sausage, eggs and waffles.I wouldn’t stay at the Country Inn and Suites again.

Would recommend. Good place to stay. Rooms are nice, good amenities and good breakfast. Customer service is very slow. I was made to pay twice because the CSR failed to do her due diligence as I prepaid. She stated it was a hold and not payment…however after clarification she stated she made a mistake and would release funds. (Still pending return, will update)

I went there this weekend. June 2-4 2023 with my schools choir, chimes and media groups. I had so much fun there. Showers were clean and I usually hate hotel showers but it was so clean. The beds were pretty clean although I slept with my own sheets.

My partner had booked a king suite for our party of 3 at Country Inn Suites. Upon check-in, the receptionist informed us that their elevators were out of order, and that they did not have any more rooms on the ground floor. Their only available room was on the third floor, which by the way, was smaller and did not come at a cheaper price. My group has accessibility issues and are not able to carry 3 x 23 kg suitcases up two floors. Despite this, the receptionist kept repeating that we would need to carry the suitcases up to the third floor without any assistance. She offered no other resolution. We ended up booking another room at the Hampton Inn right next to this hotel, which ended up being a lovely stay. The hotel will not refund our money. Steer clear of this greedy, outdated hotel that takes 4-5 days to fix elevator issues in peak tourism season.

Good value for money. Clean, friendly service. Breakfast was a bit bleak, but included. They have a basic gym but a good pool and jacuzzi. They also have a good laundromat with a few machines.

I wish I could give zero stars because the experience was terrible. First off, when we arrived in the hotel the windows were left open and there were no screens on the window. Secondly, it was so hot in the room, I had the AC on full blast and it didn’t cool down not one bit. Told the front desk but nothing was done, wasn’t given a fan or notification about the rooms cooling unit. Lastly, we were told we were going to be given a discount on the room because when we were checking out, I told them it wasn’t a pleasant stay and I was told they would apply a discount to our room. Just got our deposit back and there was no refunded discount for the room. This used to be a nice hotel years back but it has all gone downhill since then. 0/5 would not recommend, you’re better off staying somewhere else.

Upgrade at the downgrade hotel. That is the theme at this two star (striving for a one star) rating hotel.Upon arrival we were informed that our two queen bed reservation was not available. So we received a upgrade to the king suite. When traveling a family likes receiving what they reserve. So now the “upgrade” was now a downgrade for the two kids who had to share a couch bed instead of a queen bed.The front desk then informed us that the elevator was broken and we would have to use the stairs to our 3rd floor downgrade. When entering the room the list of downgrades started to make a long list. Half used toilet paper rolls, a sink that would not drain, washroom fan that did not work and a tv stuck on full brightness. We received an automated text message welcoming us to our downgrade and asked if everything was good. After I listed some issues the automated system said that staff would reach out. The did not. We left for dinner and discussed the best way to address our concerns. When we came back we noticed rocks holding doors open that should be only accessible by key card. Maybe they wanted easier access for strangers? After returning to the hotel we brought our concerns to the front desk who seemed to not care or maybe this was a regular evening complaint session. They gave us a business card for the hotel manager and brushed us off. We went to use the recently trashed and no maintenance pool that seemed to be a downgrade from posted pictures. So I will provide some new pictures to balance things out.Trying to rest at the downgrade hotel we decided to get ice. On the 3rd floor the ice machine was broken and the vending machine was sold out. So we called down to the front desk to let them know. We were told to come get ice on the first floor. It is starting to sound like the staff just doesn’t care.Since there has been no care to the customer it was time to upgrade. I changed our reservation to check out a day early. We will gladly pay an extra $100 a night at another hotel to have a functioning hotel, room and staff. If you are reading this message we survived from eating the breakfast. On second thought maybe we better not risk it. Chances are its toast and water or the toaster is broken. Maybe they will provide us with a tin can and matches to warm our water.Don’t believe the 3 star rating. If everything worked that was broken and the staff cared we may have stayed another night. Maybe.
