Fox and the Hounds Dog Care

I can't say enough great things about Dominique and Fox & The Hounds. I feel so comfortable sending my husky Jackson on walks with her. He has learned so many good behaviors from her and really benefits from the socializing on pack walks. Dominique is flexible and very knowledgeable about training and general pet health. I would highly highly HIGHLY recommend her if you are looking for a pet sitter, walker, or trainer.

I can't speak highly enough of Fox and the Hounds Dog Care!Not only do they match my rather slow (read: lazy") pooch with a group of dogs that will compliment her laissez faire attitude

Our first time using Fox and the Hounds was for dog sitting our 2 boys while we were away for the weekend. We don't have enough good things to say! Our dogs LOVED their new friend, our house was left spotless. We immediately booked the same service for our next weekend away! It's so wonderful to know our furkids are being loved and taken care of so perfectly :)

Our dog can be a handful, she can be excitable and anxious and Dominique has been so supportive, patient and respectful of her needs checking to see if there is anything specific for them to work on. Fox and the Hounds has proved to be a great choice for our dog, Dot. Dominique and her team are professional, punctual, and maintain good communication. Initially, I was nervous to have a stranger come into my home and walk my puppy but after I met Dominique and saw how she interacted with Dot, I felt completely at ease. I appreciate how Dominique and her team use the time spent walking Dot to improve her recall, focus, and manners. I have noticed that she is slowly improving on her loose leash walking. It's also a nice touch to get an update with feedback and photos emailed to us after Dot's walks.Overall, we are very happy with the services. We are so lucky to have Fox and the Hounds Dog Care in Edmonton! Our dog Io loves going to daycare! She gets to spend the day with Dominique and her pup Nalu, lots of play time and a big group walk in the off leash dog park! I know that Io is always safe when she is at Fox and the Hound and if something ever happened Dominique has dog first aid training and so much experience working with animals! As a bonus, Io also receives reinforcement of her training, which means she comes back and even better behaved dog!

My dogs have been under Dominique's care for the last 5 years and I trust her completely. She gives them her undivided attention and tailors to their unique personalities. My dogs are well exercised and better behaved because of all the training work she does with them on her walks and at her home. Can't recommend her enough! She is so passionate about what she does.

My dog absolutely loves Dominque & her team. The walkers are all amazing and I really like that they keep group sizes small. The updates and pictures we receive let us know that our dog is well tended to and cared for. We have a very active household, but the group walks are great socialization for our pup. Her manners and recall are improving too! Thank you Fox & the Hounds for taking such good care of our pup.

Dominique has been amazing throughout the entire process with our puppy! She helped us from day one with great advice and knowledge on the different breeds we were interested in. It helped me decide on the perfect new member for our family! Her training has been incredible and I’m not sure how I could have done it without her. Highly recommend!

Dominique has been walking both of my dogs for 6-7 months now, and we absolutely adore her! Our big dog (140lbs) had started to become reactive on a leash towards other dogs, but working with Dominique has helped him so much!! She is very knowledgeable and sends updates to us following each walk. Not to mention, our high energy dogs are pooped out by the time they get home. Could not recommend Dominique and her services enough!
