Besma Dental

I had an urgent dental issue that was dealt with swiftly and with great care. All staff ensure all your questions are answered and I have never felt rushed. Thank you again for such a positive experience!

Saw online they had a new patient offer for $140 and myself and my husband needed to get a new dentist since we recently moved to Dunnville. When I called to book the app I was told it was $149 (but whatever, its only $9) and was given no further instruction or asked any other questions and was told it included cleaning, xrays and general check up. My husband goes in and part way through his cleaning he gets told his time was up and he had to pay more if he wanted to finish!! We were never told there was a time limit, that is completely insane to be half way through a cleaning and ask for more money, no one will just leave half way through! Then they charge him for a fluoride coating on his teeth which is apparently required but not included in the cost (again, not told about this). They take xrays and say there are no cavities, then tells him he has 3 later on.. And they didn't do much of a general check up since the dentist was only there for less than 2 minutes and basically didn't even look at his teeth to know if there were any issues. I'm cancelling my appointment and going elsewhere after this experience, very disappointing.

The best dental practice i have ever been to. Dr Rashid is fantastic makes you feel very relaxed. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I will never go anywhere else. Great team. Thank you.

As always received wonderful service! In the past had Jade & then Tamara, but this time had Alexis for my cleaning, who was so good & pleasant to talk with, I booked ahead for a cleaning with her again in 6 months!

Do not go here. New to town , initiated care over a year ago. At every return appointment we were told we owed more payment not a couple of dollars consistently $30 -$40 extra they failed to adjust due to insurance coverage. Constant turnover with staff no one stays long what's that say? I had to return to have work redone after it failed. Found a new dentist in town my wife was asked when her last cleaning was they thought it had been years when told Besma had done this twice in the last year they were shocked. Due to plaque build up her dentures wouldn't fit properly resulted in extreme discomfort infection and ulcers below the gum line. Had to be referred to a periodontist aggressive cleaning antibiotics and possible surgery again shocked at the poor cleaning that had (not) been provided . I have my first appointment with our new dentist next week curious what the evaluation of my past recent dental care will be. After excellent dental care my whole life this place rates zero.

We went here originally for my son because it was before the holidays and could get myself and kids in before our reg dentist could see us. They took a while (a few weeks) to get back to me about my son who needed work, he was the reason I went in, but was eager to do my work. I had one spot I know I needed a filling. When I was there I was told I needed multiple. I was surprised but said ok. My first appointment was long, mapping a lot out, lots of x rays, but quick cleaning and was going to skip the polish, but I requested it. When I went back for the work. I did find the dentist was a little rough working on one side, jamming things between my teeth. (Mind you he was very good at freezing) A day after I got my fillings a tooth that they didn’t touch started causing me extreme pain, he had worked on a tooth 2 over from it and on the other side of my mouth. It was really bad pain, Make you cry pain. I was doing everything just to stand it until they could bring me in again. I actually thought maybe he caused this from shoving the plate between my teeth. When I went back They told me (without taking an x Ray) that because they did work on other teeth it must have shifted my bite and pressure points and caused me to fracture a diff tooth! They couldn’t see a fracture but was the only explanation.I had told them at my first visit, after they did the work that I felt pressure more on that tooth, like that tooth touched first when I bite down, he told me they didn’t work on that tooth and it was just feeling off because of the freeze. Which obviously was not the case. He must have ground my bite down lower on the other side so now this tooth took the majority of the impact when I bite down causing this tooth to fracture, or damaged it when working on another tooth on this side. It was A perfectly fine tooth. My premolar which you can see when I talk and smile.Since I was in a lot of pain and he told me it was fractured (without taking an x Ray to confirm this) I asked my options. If I could get a root canal? They told me there was nothing I can do to save the tooth, my only option was to pull it, (I’m in my 30’s! Do not want to pull teeth that can be saved, I had never had any dental issues before, not even a tooth ache, most work was a couple fillings, I was devastated) he said I had to get a bone graft and a dental implant. Would cost me $4,000-$6,000 out of my pocket. I couldn’t just pull it, this is a tooth you could see , I was so upset!I called Dental Arts for a second opinion. They brought me in. Actually Did an x ray and told me the tooth looked like a good tooth and they could save it with a root canal. Didn’t know why they would want to pull it. I’m writing this just after getting home from having my root canal finished at Dental Arts in Dunnville. I Would NOT go to Besma! I Feels like they don’t care about your teeth and just want money, would have pulled that tooth that day if I said ok. But I went somewhere else and they saved my tooth.Not to mention Besma charged our insurance a lot and ate up the money we had fast! I feel like they are just trying to use all your money not actually best interest of your teeth. And weeks later they called me to actually get back to me about following up with my son, the original reason I went in.

Best dentist I've been to. He jokes and makes you feel at ease the whole time. He goes slow with the freezing so you don't feel pain. I feel so much less stressed about going back ☺

I highly recommend Dr Kamron at Besma dental. I've had a life long phobia of the dentist and he has helped me to overcome it. On my first visit I had crazy anxiety from past experiences with other dentists but after seeing Dr Kamron 3 times I feel right at home in the dentist chair. Gentle, calm, and relaxed. He is the dog whisperer of dentistry. If you have any reservations about going to the dentist be rest assured that you will be in good hands at Besma Dental!

Very friendly staff. Easy to make appointments. They explained everything that needed to be done with great detail. Very professional approach. I highly recommend anyone looking for a new dental office!
