Huff Estates Winery & Inn

Went for a tasting but was served our selection without instruction or background of the grapes/wine.Wine was just ok. Beautiful property and gardens.

My husband and I decided to spend New Years Eve this year at the Huff Estates Inn. We were in a Premier King Suite. It was absolutely lovely! Beautifully and smartly designed space. We loved the see-through fireplace, the jetted tub, the comfy furniture-everything was fabulous! Free wine tasting, a bottle of wine and full breakfast were included! We will definitely be back!

Wonderful winery with restaurant and art gallery. Wine was tasty as was the pizza. Would visit again!

I just spent a day in Niagara and decided to continue the theme and visit Prince Edward County. Huff as our last winery to visit and it's too bad e ended on a bad note :(The actual grounds ere nice, had this nice pathway of outdoor art on for sale for prices that just seemed to be made up but nonetheless it as different than any other vineyard we'd been to. I think the artwork has gone to their heads a bit as we found them quite pretentious. Let me explain further...They had no menu so the one tasting attendant as busy with just one other couple. e shoed up and then a third group and he couldn't keep up. The reason? ell quite simple... he would insist on only giving people one glass per flight and then filling up their glass (without cleaning it) with the next wine. Since he wasn't filling up flights in different glasses he could only pay attention to one person at a time and while he as quite eloquent with his description of the wine, sometimes you just ant to sit back and enjoy the sips to compare and contrast.Anyways, long story short, I mentioned this to an older lady while paying and her response as It's standard. Everyone does it this ay" to which I just had to respond with the truth... it as the first time anyone has done this in any of the 13 wineries I visited in the past 3 days.She just turned her back to me and left without saying a word... I'm sure she saw me as some redneck coming out of the city but I saw her as being pretentious. She ill return to her sad life not realizing how she comes across and not think any more of it. There are just so many different ways she could have answered my observation and perhaps even find out why enjoy having flights with a glass of each wine. Yes

Beautiful property with walk around art installations. Wine was good, though our wine tasting host, Michael, made a few rude comments to our group. He was lacking enthusiasm and made us feel like we were inconveniencing him for being there. It was our first stop of the day, and it was a disappointing experience overall. Glad we saw the property though we would not come back.

What a magical and memorable stay at Huff Estates! Spent 3 days and two nights at Huff and it was truly amazing. Very clean facilities, comfy rooms, delicious full breakfasts (with a chef to make fresh omelettes!), and a very extensive selection of wines to taste and enjoy while relaxing by their vineyard. One of the best features is the sculpture garden park (Oeno Galler) which had 40+ art unique pieces to experience (and some you can engage with!).Staff is super helpful, friendly and welcoming to all. If you are headed to Prince Edward County and need a peaceful and serene stay, Huff is your spot for sure.

The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The kitchen staff especially the chef was so nice and friendly at the breakfast in the morning. The lady working with the chef in the morning had to wash dishes by hand, but she remained friendly, and happy to help people.The food was great. It was also nice to have access to the dining room When we were eating take out in the evening.The winery is lovely. You get a free flight for staying at the InnWe were there in off season so we couldn't eat at the winery.In the room the mattresses weren't as comfortable as they could be, they were hard.The bathroom was not functioning properly, the shower was just not good as the tap that was in it for some reason, and shower worked to fill the base and you are sloshing around in there. The toilet took several seconds holding the handle to flush.In summary the staff were all wonderful, helpful, and excellent.The rooms were very clean, but in need up some work. The bed was mediocre at best and the plumbing is not great with glitchy toilet and shower.

My fiancé and I came for a weekend getaway! We had a great time at Huff! Our room overlooked the vineyard and we had a private outdoor area. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The food, from breakfast to the wood oven pizzas, was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This review may not be completely fair as I had limited time to enjoy the winery. But they do have a great option to stay at their inn which was quite comfortable. The rooms are cozy and even though I had a generous mound of hair left for me covering the shower drain, I found the room quite good. And it’s lovely being close proximity to the vines and the winery itself. The room package came with a complimentary wine tasting flight and the wines were quite good. I wish I had more to say about the winery itself. I’ve stayed here twice but both times I’ve had little time to enjoy the wine and vineyard.

We did not stay at the Inn on site, we only stopped in briefly for a wine tasting. We got to the venue shortly after opening and there was only one other small group in the tasting area.After talking with the wine sommelier they tend to get much busier later in the day and if you plan on going with a larger group it would be better to book a tasting ahead.The wine selection was 4-5 white wines, 1 rosé and 2 red wines. The wine sommelier was very personable, and knowledgeable in making recommendations for what to try.We did not try any if the food at this time, maybe next timeAs we were leaving it started to get busier so we did not check out the gallery.Overall it was a wonderful experience.
