Lovely little cafe, with homemade sandwiches and soups, fresh baked treats and fabulous coffees. A quick take out alternative to a sit down restaurant or enjoys the little patio if you want a little rest from all your shopping. Umm umm good

Get a Vanilla Latte here on a regular basis, one of the best places to get a coffee beverage around. Staff is usually pleasant and attentive. They usually have a wide variety of home made sweets to try as well as a selection of soups and sandwiches/wraps. Overall a fantastic little café.

Great spot for a coffee break! Outstanding service! My 73 year old uncle did not have his hearing aid and misunderstood his wife's order. The barista was kind enough to make another drink for her saving my uncle quite some embarassment. Thank you for your extremely kind treatment of the elderly. Very much appreciated especially post covid.

The coffee is always fresh and hot. When you go first thing in the morning, it's lovely to sit outside on the patio and enjoy a nice hot cup. Great hours, too, so you won't miss out when you do a full day of shopping in Merrickville! You can go at the beginning, end, or in the middle of your day!

The Village Bean Coffee House
I always stop for a coffee and treat at The Village Bean when I'm in Merrickville. Coffee, Service and Cookies are always good. I tried their Raspberry, Coconut, Macaroon bar this time. It was chewy and absolutely delicious!! My husband enjoyed his date square as well. You can sit inside or out. It's definitely worth a visit!!

Always greeted by misable, sullen staff. The food was just Ok. Sitting on the patio out front is not very enjoyable due to the endless flow of big rigs making noise and spewing exhaust fumes.

Nice little cafe in Merrickville. We have only tried the coffee so far, an espresso, latte and cappuccino. All were very good, a distinct flavour without being overpowering, really well balanced and prepared. They also have a selection of sandwiches, soups, breakfast including omelettes, sweets, etc. Service has been friendly and efficient. Will be back next time we’re in town.

Travelled 2 hours today to enjoy what Merrickville had to offer and let me tell you this little coffee shop is worth the drive. Staff was super friendly and even the customers were saying how wonderful this place is. Coffee tasted 10/10 and it was a good price! Will be making a trip back!
