Johnny is the best stylist in town, hands down!!! I went to another well known salon in Waterloo and it took me 2 months to grown my hair back out from the crappy hair cut they gave me. They cut my bangs way too short and they cut them wet so when they dried they were even shorter. I wore a hat a lot for 2 months. After 2 months of finally growing my bangs back down to my eye brows, I went to Johnny and he made me look good. Even the guys that I work with are telling me how great my hair looks. Johnny is always really friendly and ready to make you feel completely at home and comfortable. I'm not big on people being in my bubble so being comfortable was super important to me. He is definitely worth every penny and his prices are also really good. I will never go to another hair stylist again!

Love this place. Always happy with my hair, and Johnny is amazing!My hair for my wedding was exactly what I asked for and I could not have been happier. All of my bridesmaids had beautiful hair done as well by the team there. They are great!

The best haircut I've had!I've seldom been satisfied with haircuts and often put off getting it cut, never sure what I wanted.Here, they take the time to listen to concerns, assess the type of hair and what would be a good personal style.I came out feeling so much better, loving my hairdo! Although I found the price higher than what I was used to, it was well worth it and I will be back.

I am overall happy with the results, however I was there for 4.5 hours for highlights and a haircut (and I have medium hair). I went there about a month ago because I had a Living Social coupon for highlights and a cut. My appointment was at 5:00 (I came 10 minutes before), and I was seen at 5:45pm- she was finishing up with another customer with a haircut The young woman who did my hair was courteous and friendly. The salon was modern and fresh, and from what I could tell it looked clean and organized. I was very pleased with the highlights, however I kept asking her to cut my hair shorter (since my hair grows quite fast) and she was I think too scared to go too short. She told me she was new to hairdressing so I think that’s why she was a bit weary. It took her about two hours to cut my hair- not even exaggerating.Would I recommend this salon? Depends on how much time you have on your hands. Like I said I’m happy with the highlight results but I’m not happy I had to spend 4.5 hours of my time there that should have taken 2 hours max. I would have liked the owner (he seems quite talented) to do my hair for saving time but the coupon was only for the young woman (forget her name).

Ive been going to Johnny for over 15 years. Amazing salon and Johnny is the best of the best at what he does.

Johnny is by far the best and most gifted hair stylist I have ever had! He and his team are extremely talented, creative, friendly & professional. They always go above and beyond to ensure that I have a great experience at Flo. Even though I live almost an hour away, I've been a committed client for about 4 years now. And in those 4 years I have never once been disappointed with their services. I've recommended it to all my friends & family, and now many of them are also thrilled to be Flo clients. Some of them drive all the way down from Toronto just for their appointment.

Read all the reviews, heard great things..... called for a simple haircut & was told they aren't taking new clients.My fault for trying to spend money eh?
