Banchan Korean Bistro 반찬 | Online Order | Langley | Banchan is a collective name for small side dishes served along with cooked rice in Korean cuisine. Banchan are set in the middle of the table to be shared. At the center of the table is the secondary main course, such as galbi or bulgogi, and a shared pot of jjigae. Bowls of cooked rice and guk (soup) are set individually. Banchan are served in small portions, meant to be finished at each meal and are replenished during the meal if not enough.

Utterly impressed with the fast service and delicious food! I didn't expect $90, we would walk out stuffed and two boxes of leftovers. Testament to quality and customer service. You've won me over as a regular when I want my Korean fix!

My favorite Korean restaurant in the Langley (Walnut Grove) area. The service is quick, and the food is consistently good!My go-to order (for 2-3 people to share):- Spicy Rice Cake: the tteokbokki here is lightly fried so you get a slightly crispy texture on the outside, yet still soft and chewy on the inside. Aside from the fish cakes, this dish also features brussel sprouts. I'm usually not a fan of brussel sprouts, but I love it in this dish!- Spicy Crispy Tofu: love the sauces that are paired with the tofu- Pork Belly Dupbap: I love the way they prepare the kale for this dish- Kimchi Stew: comes with lots of kimchi, meat, and tofuI can't wait to try more dishes from this restaurant, particularly their korean fried chicken, as I've heard many good reviews about it.

This is our first time here. The service was ok. We ordered many dishes including the pork belly dupbap and the seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was very dried and under cooked. As for the Pork Belly Dupbap there is a huge sharp piece of plastic in the Pork Belly Dupbap which was very dangerous. It almost cut our mouth we were lucky because we ate slowly.. and glad it was not for children.

Family dinner ruined. They gave our order to another table so we waited too long for our food. We got beef bulgogi, and the angry chicken bites, after 10mins, but the chicken bibimbap and the boneless chicken bites arrived more than 45mins later because they gave it to another table that arrived before us. In the photo you’ll see them arguing with each other on the wrong orders. All that we got by way of an apology is free pop. And the manager didn’t even offer an apology, acted like nothing happened. What a letdown.

One of the restaurants that make Langley one of my favorite places to go for a meal. All around very nice tasting food with a great atmosphere. The portions were also really good, under $20 for an entree and they fill you up. I mean seriously, look at the size of the cold noodle dish, it’s huge and it was tasty. I am also 90% sure they slipped an extra piece of pork belly into my kimchee fried rice, which made me a very happy boy. This place is a lovely find for sure and I will definitely be coming back. My one criticism would be to make the spicy fried chicken a little less sweet. If there is an option to get it less sweet, then there is no criticisms from me at all. Everything is perfect.

We have live here for a while (5+ years) and just found this place by searching for an alternative. The inside decor is a mix of old and modern with some antique retro pieces in a few spots.The food is really tasty and served fast. Try the kimchi cheese fries and the mini angry chicken.

I ordered the LA Galbi and this dish costs $39 plus other ordered items on UberEats. The meat portion is so much less than before, there’s only about 6pcs of the galbi and the rest were potatoes and brussel sprouts to make it look fuller. I don’t recommend getting this through takeout or delivery and just get it when dining in, they give better decent portion. Overall, the galbi is not worth it for that price. I’ve been a customer for a long time and I am really disappointed.

This is the favourite Korean restaurant of mine. My wife and I come here at least once two weeks from South Surrey. The food here is amazing. Delicious food with reasonable price. We tried almost half of the food on the menu. I feel like we cannot make a wrong choice here. Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup, Angry Chicken Bite, Cold noodles, Rice cake, Seafood Pancake, Kimchi And Cheese Fries are all our favourites.Service here is off the chart, and people are super super nice!!!!
