Did some online research for what I needed. Second stop and last stop here. Free parking on site. Located on the east side of the building. The staff are great, knowledgeable and very customer oriented. Set up the products I bought, set up the warranty, safety tips, quick demo on my purchase, and they service in house! Can't ask for better! Thanks guys! I'll be back!

In May 2017, I purchased a Stihl MS261 saw. It was a fantastic experience. With Aaron Engelsman's guidance (and the knowledge I gleaned from my chainsaw safety offered by the Ontario Parks Association [OPA]), I was also able to purchase all the appropriate accessories so that I could be productive and safe on my woodlot. I was also pleased with the after-purchase care I received from Thornhill Lawn Equipment’s parts/service desk (I went through several [sacrificial] aluminum chain catches as I learned how to properly tension my saw’s chain). Aaron patiently listened to my experiences as a new chainsaw owner, and was able to diagnose what operator error was causing copious chain derailments. I am a weekend forester/farmer, yet I felt like I was a respected customer and was treated like a valued client. I felt enthusiastic about owning my first high-performance Stihl power tool. I had such a good experience that I suggested to my spouse that we purchase our next power tool, a BXMC34B Wallenstein Chipper Spreader, from Thornhill Lawn Equipment.I picked up our shredder/chipper on October 2, 2020. It was fully assembled. I’m looking forward to moving it up to our woodlot. Our customer service this time was not good. My wife felt she was patronized and talked-down to by the salesman. I will buy additional gear from another dealer. That is a pity.

Have to support this local retail store.Found this place when I bought my Stihl leaf blower last fall. Also buy my pre-mix here.Good pricing and knowledgeable staff.Very different experience than the big box stores. I shopped and they weren’t more expensive.They have all the big names.Definitely check them out we need more retail like this place!!!

Bought a snowblower this morning just in time for the snow! I have to say that after calling around to various shops, it was such a refreshing customer service experience dealing with Eric and team at Thornhill Lawn Equipment. Aaron and Eric are extremely friendly and 'real'! They are so down-to-earth it was a wonderful experience working with them. There were no issues with taking the time to answer my questions, they are organized, and the entire transaction went very smoothly. It was a pleasure to do business with you and I am happy to have found this gem of a shop in a my neighbourhood!

Aaron is awesome. He always take time to answer all the questions I have. He makes sure the customer has all info they need for safe handling, operation and storage of equipment. He makes great recommendations for equipment based on all user needs. Amazingly he is straight to the point and does this all without any fluff and bs or time wasted. Happy to buy my tools here.

Best repair shop for our Land Pride EZ Turn ride on! When all other shops said it was a difficult machine and didn’t want to work on it, this shop was able to get parts and repair within 2 weeks. The mechanic actually said it was a great machine and easy to work on! Reasonably priced and honest too.Thank you…..10/10 ⭐️.

A long overdue review. I came in when my trimmer was giving me a bit of an issue when starting up. The gentlemen behind the counter was kind and courteous, he let me know first that he wouldn't be able to get to it for a while on account of how busy he was, but he asked me for details about the problem and talked me through what the problem might be (it was an obvious one as I was starting the machine incorrectly). I drove 45 minutes to this particular shop solely after reading the reviews, even though I didn't buy my machine from the store, they helped out as much as I could have hoped. This place definitely lives up to the positive reviews. If you're contemplating servicing your machine or purchasing a new one, look no further. You won't find folks as knowledgable and caring as they are here. As a plus, another gentleman started up a Model train for my 3 year old toddler waiting with me.
