Wonderful place to learn about God and hear the old hymns sung. Pastor Doerkson and his wife have a real heart for people.

We visited this church when we were in the area and we were so encouraged! The Pastor has a true love for the Lord and the people. If you are looking for a church that preaches the Word of God and is seeking to please the Lord this is the one.

Best church

It just wasn't our style of anything. We love to sing some old hymns like Amazing Grace and The Old Rugged Cross Etc., but then we also like to sing some uplifting songs and praise the Lord with our worship, but these guys only did hymns. Sorry, but the whole church just felt like it was a dead church. Everyone was all dressed up, so it made us feel like we were underdressed which made it uncomfortable for us. We are used to churches where they say just come as you are, which means clean t-shirts and blue jeans are just fine for the Lord he will accept us whatever way because he is interested in Saving Souls! We felt like they had a division lately in their church and the pastor was talking on one thing and then next thing we knew he went on to a different topic and then a few minutes later on to a different topic again. He had about five different topics, we just looked at each other and said what the heck is going on, sooo as soon as the service was over we left. Bang the dust off of our feet from this church. Like I said, it's not for us! It might be for someone else, but not for us. Sorry!

Very sound bible preaching ,I like that the preaching from the bible was uncomfortable at times and comforting as well convicting the believer and the non believer . While always preaching the gospel message with love and truth .
