Turned away 6pm Saturday night citing a one hour wait as there was a group of 8 people who had already ordered and waiting to eat. Also note this is a food truck with all outdoor grass seating area but your dog is not welcome.

I was driven here specifically to try the brie and bacon burger and I was not disappointed!! They make 'em fresh to order - it's not fast food so prepare to wait the usual time it takes to good a good juicy burger. The small fries are huge!! Two people can share then easily. Friendly staff! Nice scenery. Check it out!!

The food at The Hen House is excellent and reasonably priced. I odered a hamburger and it was one of the best that I have ever eaten. It is a nice country setting. The one lady who is the older of the two was extremely friendly and kind. Unfortunately the other lady was not as friendly. My children were going to look at the gift shop and the lady thought they were going to touch the horses and informed me they nip. I appreciated this and informed her they were just going to see the gift shop. She then snapped it's closed" and walked away. I was disappointed with her tone of voice with me and felt unwelcomed. Despite this experience I still recommend The Hen House but left this message in hopes that the lady will read this review and learn the importance of speaking to people in a respectful manner."

Found The Hen House on a search on Google Maps and we loved it. We both had the Bacon Brie burger and it was delicious. We shared a small Poutine and couldn't finish it. There was gravy and cheese though the whole this, not just on top. And the portions are generous. The staff is very friendly, I highly recommend stopping here.

Their homemade burgers are amazing. we had the hawaian and a brie cheese burger. The fries are very generous portions that you can share. perfect out door setting during summer.

A true gem of a restaurant. It's the kind of place you need to be told about, because you'd drive right past it.It could have easily been the freshest, tastiest burger I've ever had.

I’m from out of town and me and my friends went camping at selkirk. On our way out we were so hungry and came to eat at this establishment. WOW, amazing food! I absolutely gladiated a glizzy (hotdog), and oh boy it was delicious. Their burgers are also to DIE for. 10/10 would recommend... good things come to those who wait.

Came out all the way from Toronto to check out the lake and got hungry..... stumbled upon this little place and decided to come because of its closeness to where I was....my God was I in a treat!If you're close by,or within 15-40 mins driving distance, due your taste buds a favor and COME HERE!!If you chose to ignore this review and just keep on driving by.....you should just stop eating..... altogether.....that's how much of a disservice you're doing to yourself!Peameal on a bun and hen fries are 12 out of 10!Thank you for existing, Hen House!
