Very poor communication. I signed a limited retainer with Balatidis Legal for a real estate issue post closing. Communication was good up until the retainer was paid, and then dropped of. The limited retainer was for a letter of opinion. This was provided with recommendations, but all attempts to follow up with Peter regarding the recommendations were ignored. There was no response to requests for next steps to implement the recommendations, or even to confirm whether he was still retained. I am now starting again and seeking new representation. Very unprofessional. You don't expect to get ghosted by your legal representation.

We've had the privilege of working with Peter in evicting a tenant, and even though the landlord process is horrific here in Ontario, Peter guided us through the whole process professionally. He did a marvelous job presenting in the court, obtaining witnesses and ensuring our tenant was evicted. He was not just there for the hearings, but always answered all our questions, was a source of support and we will always be grateful for his honesty, trust and professionalism. I STRONGLY recommend Peter!

Peter is a very knowledgeable as it relates to tenant issues and he was able to help resolve mine- I honestly know that I would not have been able to have some peace in my home without his help and support. I had a free consultation with him prior to signing up with him and I could tell from speaking with him that he had done this many times before and would be of great value.I rated 4 stars just because the customer service angle needs some improvement. Every client deserves the same level of attention even though one may feel like the clients issue is not that serious. I had a very hard time reaching him when my issues were escalating and I sometimes heard back from him 2 days after I reached out (which for someone with a tenant issue seems like a lifetime)Asides from that, I really appreciated all the help and support Peter offered in making my issue go away. I would recommend him for anyone with any tenancy issues as long as you can handle the wait time

I personally had a horrible experience with this office. The communication is limited and when emailed very specific requests, they were not answered, During the course of my retainer, I asked repeated questions including requesting a financial update on my file, The response was simply, no update”! Services are expensive and before I released this office from my file there was a small balance of $11.00 outstanding on my account

Peter is very knowledgeable about the LTB rules & regulations and very confident in what he suggests. During the initial period where his previous admin was on long leave we had trouble in reaching out to him, once he connected to the case he is on top of the matter till the closure. He is really empathic and explained all the possible scenario’s we can anticipate before the hearing. His timely and thorough approach in building the case helped to navigate easy during the hearing. I am really impressed the way he presented the case with clarity and conviction. We got the eviction order in 2 weeks from hearing after stressful 6 months cycle.
