We made a reservation for dinner and the burlesque show weeks ago, only to find out the night before the show was changed to belly dancers. The show ($10 cover) was ok. The dancers definitely tried their best to entertain but the stage was low and it was difficult to see unless you are sitting right up front. The music was loud (and the sound was not great) so it was difficult to have any conversation. Food was good though, and our server was excellent. Overall, it was an interesting place to spend Friday evening but make sure you confirm the entertainment line up before going there, and try to get a seat up front if you want to see the stage!

An excellent bright stop on Commercial. A nice patio, good drink selection and awesome live music to add to your evening. We stopped for some drinks and an appie and loved it all.

On Friday night, I had the pleasure of dining at Osita, a charming restaurant located in Vancouver's Little Italy on Commercial Drive. The ambiance was delightful, with warm lighting and a cozy atmosphere that set the stage for a memorable evening. As I settled into my seat, I couldn't help but be drawn to the live entertainment. The band, The Werewolves, filled the air with their captivating music, creating a lively and upbeat atmosphere throughout the restaurant. Their talented performance added an extra layer of enjoyment to my dining experience. For my main course, I opted for the Bison, Lamb, and Pork Stew, along with a side of Winter Salad. The combination of tender bison, succulent lamb, and flavorful pork in the stew was truly exceptional. Each bite offered a rich medley of savory flavors that warmed my palate. The hearty stew was complemented beautifully by the Winter Salad, which consisted of crisp greens, seasonal vegetables, and a light dressing that added a refreshing touch. However, I must admit that I was taken aback by the portion size of the stew. It arrived in a smaller bowl than I had anticipated, leaving me craving for more. Nonetheless, the quality and taste of the stew were undeniable, and I was determined to make the most of my dining experience. To satisfy my appetite further, I decided to order the Qualicum Cheeseworks Baked Brie and Smoked Salmon Flatbread. (I highly recommend both!) The baked brie was a decadent delight, with its creamy texture and rich, earthy flavors. Paired with the flatbread, which was adorned with generous portions of smoked salmon, this dish was a perfect complement to the stew. The combination of the warm, gooey cheese and the smoky salmon provided a delightful contrast that satisfied my hunger and elevated my dining experience.Throughout the evening, the attentive and friendly staff at Osita ensured that I felt welcomed and taken care of. Their knowledge of the menu and their willingness to offer recommendations enhanced my dining experience, making it all the more enjoyable. In the end, my dinner at Osita was a delightful experience filled with delectable flavors, live entertainment, and a cozy atmosphere. While the portion size of the stew initially surprised me, the addition of the Qualicum Cheeseworks Baked Brie and Smoked Salmon Flatbread more than made up for it. Osita truly showcased the culinary diversity and vibrancy of Vancouver's Little Italy, leaving me with fond memories and a desire to return in the future.

Great vibe. Loud music. It's a nice place to try out. Don't expect to be about to talk though the music is seriously loud. I did wish that during the breaks when the live band is not playing they can play softer music and give the patrons a chance to talk. The food was not bad. The tomatoe salsa literally comes with nothing but salad. The food took forever to come and also the drinks. Actually our drinks were sitting in the bar for so long that it got watered down. We didn't know it was our drinks but we saw some drinks just sitting at the bar. They forgot to bring it over. We also ordered a beer that never came. The service can be better. We ordered an appetizer with brie cheese, it was pretty great because it was an entire piece of cheese. However, they didn't give us enough bread. I mean since the dish was $17 I think they can just give a few more slices of bread . Overall I will recommend this place to try but beware that your throat will hurt afterwards. It is really really loud, and when there's no live band playing it will be really great to just give the patrons rest from screaming. You literally need to yell at the person that's sitting next to you in order for them to hear you.

We came here for the performances which was awesome and did not disappoint. Just wish they arranged the middle seating close to the stage to be lower than the seats on the sides. It was hard to see the performance from the side tables. The server was one of the most friendliest’s servers we’ve had and was very attentive. Ambiance was great and beautiful decor. Share plates were INCREDIBLY SMALL and not enough to be shared at all. Even one person eating it will still be left hungry. Food was delicious though and beautifully plated. Cocktails were amazing.

If you want to plan for a night with live music, don't count on it cuz it may be cancelled and they forget to inform you.But the food was great! Staffs are fast and supportive with smiley faces and great advice. The place's ambiance also was great!

Such a great place to sit outside and enjoy live music. Drinks were great and service was excellent from 3 staff. Only downside was there was a different person helping us each time someone came to us so we didnt know who our server was. And the waiter that ran our bill through was quite rude to us especially to my friend and he really lacked customer service skills.

Went for Sunday brunch. For coffee, they only do espresso based drinks. I got a mocha and my fiancé got an Americano, both were very good!I got the maple glazed sweet potato hash and my fiancé got the pork belly Bennie. Both dishes were some of the best brunch foods we've had!The staff were very nice and welcoming, and the restaurant is decorated very nicely. Definitely planning to come back for dinner and love music at some point!

This is an interesting spot in the middle of Commercial drive. I came here for brunch and the food did not disappoint.Lots of the dishes were duck related. The food itself was quite tasty, the portions weren’t too big or too small, just the right amount to make you feel full. Price point is decent as well, will definitely come back and try some of the cocktails and their dinner menu. There’s a nice stage setup and musical quotes throughout the restaurant.
