Dickson Barbeque Centre

Purchased a new Weber grill along with a cover, brush and drip pans 2 weeks ago for delivery unassembled in the box outside of the GTA. BBQ was missing an accessory (smoker box) and had a faulty ignition. My first contact at Dickson pushed me off to Weber in Illinois? Phil Raponi from Dickson called me the next day and offered his support. Jigar P from Weber was amazing in working through expedited shipments for the missing accessory and replacement ignition assembly parts. My reason for the 3 star review is I'm very surprised the issues were not fully managed by Dickson BBQ. I would expect this from a Big Box Retailer but not a specialty store.

Never really knew of Dickson BBQ before last few months, but wish I had earlier. These guys are the absolute best in terms of service and expertise.When they don't have parts, they order for you. When they don't know the answers, they actually call you back. And if circumstances change and they you are no longer confident with your purchase, they do what it takes to make the situation right.I had purchased special ordered something that I no longer needed by the time it arrived, and they fully refunded me despite it honestly being my fault. I was ready to pay a restocking fee but they waived that too.Lastly, if you have any questions and aren't sure what you need, call or email them - they actually pick up and reply!These guys have it figured out.

We had a great experience buying our Weber natural gas bbq at this store. Right from the moment we walked in Dieter was there for us with his expert advice to help us choose a bbq and also guided us on how to determine the size of the bbq hookup opening. The process from quote to sale to delivery was flawless. If you use their assembly and delivery service you will get certified gas techs to come to your place who will connect the bbq and light it to check if everything is okay. I look forward to many years of doing business with this store for my outdoor cooking needs. Thank you so much Dieter!

I visited the Vaughan location on my son's recommendation looking to purchase a Weber charcoal bbq. I met Peter who not only provided great service, he also took the time to answer all my questions for the use of the bbq and the essentials required from charcoal brands to cooking and cleaning utensils. Absolutely EXCELLENT customer service. Thank you Peter and Dickson!!

Went to the concord location yesterday to pick up accessories for a pizza oven. Was served by a gentleman named Peter, who was very knowledgeable /helpful and went above and beyond. Definitely recommend going here. Customer service on point, lots of items in stock.

Great company! From the sales staff to management.They stand behind what they sell. I had an issue with a heater and everyone from staff at the Jane store, Jit (sales),I think was his name, to Morgan (warehouse manager) went above and beyond to help. Thank you both.

Visited this Dickson location last week to buy some accessories and potentially another big green egg to add to my collection, along with some professional series knifes for cutting meat. As soon as I walked in the store it was completely dead , not one single customer in sight, with 3 staff standing all behind the counter. I walked around for at least 10 minutes not even one of them asked if I needed a hand, I had to ask them for help as they were all on their phones “extremely busy” on social media. They could have made a $3k + sale that day but instead I walked out with a bag of wood smoking logs, only reason why I’d give a 2 star is because they have good selection

Given the current situation and no in store shopping,the level of service and knowledge received from Shawn was second to none from the first call to the curbside pick up. Shawn has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the product and BBQ'S in his store. Dickinson BBQ is my go to place from here on.

Came in to pick up an online order. Was approached by one associate who went off to retrieve my order. I was looking around and picked up a bbq rub I was going to purchase. It was my first time at this store so my wife and I were just looking around. We both noticed shortly after another associate awkwardly following us from a distance. When I looked at him he pulled his phone out and walked off. We were obviously being profiled, maybe he thought I was going to steal the bbq rub that I had taken off the shelf in front of the other associate (btw the rubs are located in the front by the cash registers). Anyway, I gave 2 stars because prices and selections are good. I won't be back at this location but will definitely make my way to their other locations where hopefully customers aren't being profiled.

in a world where retail shopping experiences have only continued to erode and worsen over time, i cannot say enough good things about the folks at Dickson. I placed an online order for a Weber and accessories late on a sunday evening, including paying for assembly and delivery. early monday morning I received a call from the store confirming my order and asking when i would like to schedule drop off and installation. to my surprise, they offered next day availability at my convenience. sure enough, right on time the following morning two gentlemen showed up in a van with my fully assembled weber and hauled it up to my balcony to install it, which took them moments. after the installation, they were nice enough to give me a run down on proper usage and igniting practices as well as detail the value of the weber smart phone app. the whole process took, at most, 15 minutes. hats off dickson, this was all done in july 2022 but after having multiple terrible shopping experiences through the holiday season i was reminded and compelled about some of the good experiences i have had like dickson
