The folks at the York St location in London are wonderful people and they price fairly. The store on Elias - you best have a black AMEX card to shop here. Today one plate was $95.00, teapot $40, set of dinner plates - priced at 40$ PER PLATE. I could go on but ... I will continue to support York St but Elias is no longer affordable.

I love this store! It is small, so you get the feeling (I get the feeling, can't vouch for you) that you are in someone else's house, going through their stuff, ready to purchase anything your fancy. It has a complete set of household items, enough to staff out three or four households at once. Furniture is always clean and impeccable; the only thing in the store i could not afford for myself if I needed any. Everything else is dirt cheap, while clean, shiny and useful. Clothing is of little selection, if you need something better, I would recommend some other second-hand store. It is neat and quaint. The old lady who used to be rude and partial to her favourite customers has retired two years ago, and the new staff is very attentive and kind.

As usual, the wife found a few things here. The store seemed clean and the people working are always nice. I found a couple cds that were in very nice shape. The records were the same as they were a month ago, I would almost rather see none there than the same ones for months but I do acknowledge they can only sell what people give them so they likely prefer it to look more full than not. Did check out both east London locations on the same day this time. The Elias street store has opened up a little more...she found a few things there too but their shoes seemed to be priced higher.

The staff are mostly friendly. The prices on many items are no longer competitive for a thrift store. I didn’t purchase anything on my last visit and I won’t be going back.

Really great prices in a clean, well organized store. Products are varied and different almost daily; I always find something interesting I end up bringing home. Staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful. Truly a real non-profit outlet serving our community unlike other supposed Good-value profit centric retail stores.
