They won't give you a copy of your own prescription, no matter how many times you ask. It's ridiculous. Will have to pay for another eye exam elsewhere. Ridiculous.

I have been going to this location, 250 Shawville Blvd S.E. for many years because of the great, professional, friendly service I always recieve from Chantelle and her staff. Fantastic selection of glasses and best prices. Chantelle has really made a difference at that location, anytime i need an adjustment or have a problem with my glasses, she goes above and beyond to help. I have refered my family and friends to go see her. They always comment, how friendly she is and how well they were looked after. If you need glasses, contacts, or eye exam and want phenomenal customer service, Go to this location and ask for Chantelle, you definatly wont be dissapointed.

Bought a pair of glasses, always keep it in the box. A month later it got damaged heat, paid almost $300 dollars for a pair of glasses , totally wasted my money. I won’t recommend this place!!

I recently visited Shawnessy Hakim with my girlfriend and we found the staff to be amazing. Jocelyn was so patient and helpful! Went there for reading glasses. Both were broken right away and when I returned it, this man’s attitude telling me off that next time it breaks, I will have to pay! Don’t talk to people this way. Rude and unprofessional. Quality is cheap too. I’m old enough to know that unfair businesses don’t thrive.

I just picked up two new pairs of glasses today and love them. The staff at Shawville Hakim was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Jessica. She walked me through every stage from beginning to end. I really didn't know what style I was interested in (I usually dread shopping for glasses) but Jessica pointed me toward a few options to best fit my prescription, taking into account what style I was already wearing. She also suggested some great options for consideration, one of which I bought. I am quite happy with both pairs and will definitely go back to this Hakim next time I need new glasses (or perhaps sooner for contacts that need updating too!)Jason
