Two Men and a Truck
Although the movers themselves were great, I was told when I booked that Two Men and a Truck could store my stuff on the truck overnight at no charge. At the end of my move, it turns out they charged me to unload my belongings into a storage facility and then load them back up the next morning because they needed the truck (costing me about 4 extra hours of moving). When I tried to contact customer service about the issue as well as to get a formal invoice/receipt showing what I was charged for, they ghosted me completely. There are a lot of moving companies out there and I wouldn't recommend using this one.

Asked twice to get quote for moving household furniture.Mid April asked 3rd time for simeone to give me quote. I was promised call back immediately.It is now mid may. My friends helped me move. Still waiting for call

Used them end of April 2023. Extremely disappointed with their service, MUST say WHEN booking the service follow up calls and emails every 2nd day. The final charges due were almost double, and they were very unprofessional members. Even their site supervisor admitted and agreed ON the spot that he would NOT charge all the hours which were wasted by the movers. In addition, several damages were recorded on 'Legal paperwork,' and I was told that SOMEONE would FOLLOW up, as I did sign the paperwork to cover damages if it happened. No one called, and after a few frustrating emails, I asked to send an email with details and pictures, which I did, BUT AGAIN, no response. Today, June 05, 2023, is precisely 30 days after my official submission - NO one cares and responded.My following action is to report and engage the lawyer, they have caused the unnecessary stress to my family on top of damages.

I hired the company to move my apartment on a Saturday. An hour after the scheduled time I called to ask where my movers were, and they said it was truck issues, however the company never reached out to me to let me know they would be late. A short while later they called to let me know the truck was running and the driver was on their way. In the end, the driver did not arrive for another couple hours, and was in total 4 hours late; additionally the movers did not bring the boxes and supplies I requested of the company.The company sent 3 movers, while 1 sat in the truck the entire day, but still tried to charge me for the 3 movers. In addition, the crew was extremely slow and inefficient, dragging out the move, costing more hourly. Finally, several pieces of my furniture were damaged by careless packing into the truck, and the company wanted me to pay an additional $250 to assess" the damage.Finally

I WOULD NEVER recommend this unprofessional moving company to ANYONE who appreciates their hard earned Items and doesn't want them damaged. I have been charged an unapproved amount and have never had ANYONE from this business ever return my phone calls or emails with my concerns. I even went to their Edmonton location and nobody was there. They definitely want to upsell you on your move according to their business plan outlined in their office. Reaching out to disgruntled customers who would like to discuss things that went wrong....not a priority. I moved in August. I had booked the appointment several weeks earlier with a documented list of what needed to be moved. I was told 3 movers would suffice for 7.5 hours. The day of the move, the movers showed up 90 minutes late, with too small of a truck and only 2 people (not 3)showed. My suspicions were also that one of the two movers was very new and inexperienced. This thought was confirmed with extensive damage done to my walls and furniture throughout this move. A third person did show up around 1:30pm. They barely covered anything in the truck, so when things were stacked on each other, they had scratched woods and torn fabric. Every a 250 lb desk top was leaned against a metal covered wall of the truck and not even covered ( held there with 2 bungie cords).As mentioned, the truck was too small and not everything from my move could be put in the truck....this included the movers toolbox" which contained moving blankets and such. They had to come back to the original house after the move was completed to pick it up. I got charged for that BTW

When I booked my move of a 2 bedroom place, moved 5 minutes away they told me that usually takes 5 hours. I informed them that I would have 80% of my belongings moved, and just needed them for the big items. 10 items to be exact! Low and behold, it took the movers 5 hours TO THE MINUTE for 10 pieces of furniture! How is that even possible? What if I hadn’t moved every other thing I owned? I bet it still would have taken 5 hours, and they would have made sure of it. It cost me almost $1000 for TEN ITEMS! And some of my furniture is damaged. Never Again.

Hopeless service. They charged me double than what was originally quoted. The truck was small so it took long time to load. One crew member was very slow and hence they took such a long time to do the job. Please be careful. They quote less to get a business and they charge heavily after the job is done. Don't hire this company. Useless transporters In Edmonton.

Very disappointed with my move.I spoke with Joseph and he told me I needed to provide the company with an inventory. I did not realize that they didn’t book my reservation until the itinerary was provided?? So when I called to submit my inventory, my file had been closed and I nearly lost my move date. He was very diligent about helping me understand what I misunderstood previously and he did find me a crew and truck for moving day. However, he did not tell me that I needed to move my food out of my fridge/freezer and he did not inform me of overtime charges.I provided a detailed inventory but the gentlemen who showed up had no copy of it. Our mover Charles was very kind and prompt. However he was tired and needed food and water. Dancing Star arrived tired and unkept. I bought them Subway and gave them half a case of pop to help give them some energy.My original estimate for a 3 bedroom townhouse was for 7 hours. After I submitted my inventory list, it was changed to 9 hours. At the 10 hour marker (day of move) the movers were visibly exhausted and couldn’t do anymore. They called their boss (Ben) who arrived very quickly and stated if he had booked the move he would have put three men on the job.I’ve called the office and spoken to Jey who told me the only thing they can do is give me a discount on my hourly rate to complete my move, 13 days after my original date?I hired professionals because I haven’t moved before. I asked questions like “can you pack my pictures? Will you take my bedroom set apart? What do I need to do to prepare?” I was told that the movers will take apart furniture and will pack fragile items (such as frames) in special packing material.When my movers arrived they had no tools, so I disassembled my bedroom set myself. They left ALL of my frames and art. They damaged nearly every piece of furniture I have because they used packing tape to close drawers and they did not use the dolly appropriately.I spent weeks preparing for this move. I bought the stickers to label and provide direction for the new house, I bought sturdy boxes from uhaul and wrapped them appropriately, I weighed all the boxes to make sure I wasn’t putting more than I should have into the boxes. I did everything I could to make this move go smoothly.At the new house, I even put the colored stickers up on the walls of the rooms the boxes needed to go. Out of 110 boxes, 14 were placed in the wrong rooms, and NONE of them were placed against a wall, or even in a general area. All of my boxes were dropped in random places in the rooms. I couldn’t physically get into two of the rooms based on how the boxes were placed. More than half of the boxes are ruined (handles ripped) - even though I packed and moved them around my old house without wrecking one!I asked for professional help and did not receive it. I paid an arm and a leg to move a 3 bedroom townhouse (one bedroom set, one child’s bedroom, one living room set, one kitchen table (no chairs), two empty hope chests, one cabinet, 13 shelves, 10 bins and just over 100 boxes)There is still all of my outside furniture, children’s toys, a fridge, freezer, tires, bikes, 25ish boxes, computer chair, filing cabinets, a fragile stand, vacuum cleaner, and all my frames/art left.I have called 4 times and left messages for George to call me back, to which he has still not a week after the move. I have requested three times to have help filling out my damage request, still no help. And I received no explanation why a crew couldn’t move me out of my 900sq ft townhouse in ten hours?! Should it have taken more than ten hours? I’m being quotes another 4 hours for remaining items.I’m beyond disbelief at this point, and have no idea what to do. I thought I researched the company, I called a couple of times and had great customer service on the phone prior to booking. I made sure I fulfilled my end of the deal. Where did I go wrong? And how does such a small space demand over 14 hours to move out of?
