Great experience at ScanDesigns Richmond! This is a large store with loads of seating options.My 90 year old Mom has been in need of a comfortable new chair for a while after giving away a chair that was no longer working for her.On Saturday, June 17th, I picked her up and we went chair shopping. ScanDesigns was our first stop where we found a chair that was a definite contender. We carried on with our search at other stores for comparison purposes, and after trying a number of other chairs, it became clearer than ever that the Scandesigns chair really ticked all the boxes for my Mom, and so we went back and she ordered it.We were both delighted that she found such a great chair, and at a great price, and what made the whole experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be, was the wonderful service we received from Sheri.Sheri was lovely to deal with. She's friendly, helpful, patient knowledgeable, and she has a very gentle and kind manner. Furthermore, Sheri was particularly understanding of my Mom's issues (not only age but also the fact that my Mom had recently broken her wrist, so getting in and out of chairs was a bit challenging).Sheri guided us through a number of interesting options, was never pushy, and was truly a pleasure to deal with.Thank you very much, Sheri, for the great service and for being so nice and helpful! Mom and I both appreciate it immensely and I know she'll be delighted when the chair arrives.Five star service! :-)

We purchased a dining room set from Scan Designs about 3 years ago that included a glass-topped table and six chairs. Although the chairs are solid and comfortable, the fabric/leatherette on the seat of the chairs has deteriorated (cracking and peeling). We are very disappointed with this problem because it was an expensive purchase. Our furniture has been well-maintained (no kids or pets) with regular daily use. We would like to know from management at Scan Designs whether they can repair and/or replace the chairs.

Big furniture store. Lots of fairly modern looking and contemporary furniture to choose from. Good prices and you don't typically have to wait months to have things made.

I'm so glad we stopped by ScanDesigns on our search for a nursing chair because we found the perfect one! Sheri was very helpful and understood exactly what I was looking for. She was knowledgeable and never pushy.The chair is amazing. It's beautiful, but it's also very functional. It's super comfortable and has been since the start when I was just beginning to recover from a c-section. It's easy to get the chair into a comfortable feeding position with the automatic controls and the swivelling and rocking comes in handy.One day when I'm done with breastfeeding I look forward to having it as part of our living room furniture. My husband and I both reality love this chair.

Colin provided the best customer service ever! I called the store because we lost a key to open a desk drawer that was purchased approximately 15 years ago. Colin said he may be able to find one in the warehouse and within a week I had the key that opened our desk! He went above and beyond his job at the store. I have bought a few pieces of furniture from Scan Design in the past and I would definitely continue to shop there. The customer service is exceptional! Thank you again Colin!

Purchased a few large pieces here now and it was a pleasant experience every time. Great customer service and products. Always the first place we look when shopping for new furniture.

My parents and I just moved to British Columbia and so they wanted to invest in good quality furniture. We looked through quite a few shops and the ScanDesigns furniture definitely stood out. The quality of most their items were priced reasonably as well. While shopping, Sherry helped us tremendously and if she was not knowledgeable about something, she would go and find out for us. On the other hand, we came back on another day to finalize our purchase but Sherry was not working that day so we were greeted by Sophia. While Sophia was knowledgeable, she was quite hesitant to help us while we tried to show her exactly which colour we wanted from the show room. Overall, customer service was pretty great regardless and the quality of the furniture was definitely worth the price. We are so excited for our delivery day!
