Lethbridge Community Laboratory

I Received a requisition for bloodwork from my doctor on Thursday .Went online to book an appointment for Friday as I was leaving town early Saturday morning …. there were no appointments available.I walked in on Friday and was told that there was a hour wait and I could wait or come back and that they were open till 645 PM and usually quiet at the end of the day .I returned at 6:30 PM …score !! waiting room was empty. 2 staff on duty … took them a min to notice me and then told me that they do not take walkins after 6:30 . I looked at the time and it was 6:33PM Would have be nice to have been told that earlier when I was there .. or have it posted on line . The 2 staff turned me away and continued to do what they were doing when I got there ** NOTHING !!!

The Hospital is no longer the location for your blood work testing.There is a new DynaLIFE Medical Lads building at 1240 2nd A Ave N. In the parking lot at Save On Foods. DynaLIFE is in the old RBC bank.I hope this helps.

The ladies who work here are very friendly, efficient, and excellent at their jobs. The only poor experience I've ever had was with somebody who was learning, left my arm feeling like hamburger even after I'd asked her to be more gentle when removing vials. As far as the facility itself goes it almost feels like an afterthought, it's dated, the waiting room feels improvised and the restrooms for the lab seem to also be for the dialysis ward. With there only being three of them you'll likely end up waiting for a patient to finish their business before you can produce a sample. Otherwise the space is fairly uninviting, so it's best to bring something to occupy yourself with.

Getting jabbed is never fun but the staff do their best and I am grateful for that. I love socialized public health care for all!!

Honestly great place to go to get testing done whether it's blood or other samples. Everyone is very friendly and professional, and they are quick so wait times aren't too long.

Excellent lab location! Quick, friendly, CLEAN, and most importantly? Good at their job. The fact they were able to find a decent vein on me, and so quickly, was amazing. And when you've had the amount of blood work and hospital IVs that I've had, that's a major compliment.I'd also like to note: it's an accessible location. Lethbridge is inaccessible to those of us with disabilities as a whole, but I have no qualms about this location. Thank you.
