First time ordering from this restaurant. Won’t be my last. Reviews were good so thought to give it a try as it is close to my place. Ordered the Special #5 [2 tofu soup bowls (each comes with a bowl of rice), 6 chicken wings, box of boneless snowing chicken, box of 6 beef dumplings].Soup was very tasty. Both of us ordered medium heat and was happy we didn’t get hotter. I had the combination tofu soup - came with one small shrimp and two mussels and quite a bit of beef.Spouse had the kimchi tofu soup which he enjoyed. Came with an egg in the middle.He did comment that he did not quite like the taste of the condiment kimchi that came on the side.The boneless snowing cheese fried chicken was so tasty and sweet! Loved it!Fried chicken wings were really good. Nice and crunchy, moist inside.Beef dumplings were nice too.Two of us could not finish this meal, will be good to share with my son next time.Pickup was ready and waiting in 15 mins. Great service. Just a bit of difficulty putting in order over the phone due to language but we got by. No biggie. Had tried to order online but if you need to specify what soups you want and spiciness, instructions are in Korean, so had to call in.Definitely will return. Great taste, great service.

Best tofu soon in town. Had always gone to the Yonge location and the Bloor location. First time at the Sheppard location. The waiter was very quick and helpful, food tasted great. Overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend.

They messed up our order and we ended up waiting more than 40 min for the food. The small portion of boneless chicken was sad looking for $14, so not worth it. I got the seafood soontofu and the taste was okay, in the past it used it be around $12 and now it is $16. The seafood pieces are very small, i just feel like they charge wayyy too much for the quality they serve.They did apologize for making us wait but more could've been done imo...idk if i would come back again.

We did try their food in a different site and we're happy that they opened here (Victoria Park/Sheppard). We were seated right away by the friendly staff.We ordered Kimchi Soon Tofu, Fried Chicken, and Broiled Beef BBQ, and everything taste amazing!We will definitely eat here again for sure. The place is clean and you can shop in Winners after, if you want. ;) It's close to Food Basic as well. You can order online if you want.

I tried the Bulgogi soup which is not my usual order and was a big mistake as it doesn't come anywhere close to how good the broiled bulgogi is.

Quick service. Great food.I listened to the staff go through the menu with the table next to us, carefully explaining what was vegetarian.

We were looking for Korean restaurant open on Jan 2 and came across this restaurant. The restaurant was relatively busy and lots of tables had dishes not collected. It looks like they understaffed today.We ordered #1 combination Soon tofu (beef, shrimp, mussel) $15.95 served with purple rice in hot stone pot rice. #11 Pork bone potato soup with hot stone pot rice $16.95. Fried chicken wings (6 pc) $14.The soups were tasty and served bubbling hot. The hot stone rice had crispy crusty rice, but we felt the serving was not enough. My combination Soon Tofu had a spicy broth even though I asked for mild. There was lots of tofu, small slices of beef, 3 pcs of mussels, and 1 tiny little shrimp. The portion size was underwhelming, although i did enjoy the savoury broth.My wife had the pork bone soup with 2 large meaty pieces of pork bone and bean sprouts on top. I didn't see any potatoes in the soup.The soy garlic chicken wings were crispy and juicy with a sort of sweet and savoury sauce. The sauce looked very watery, but we enjoyed the wings.Overall, the bill came up to $53 taxes included which is very steep for just 2 bowls of soup and 6 chicken wings. Although the food didn't disappoint, it left us wanting more. The banchan was only baked beans, pickled turnip, and kimchi. Nothing stands out here. The menu is very simple and lacks options. There are a few rice dishes like bulgogi, spicy pork, and squid.If you're looking for a variety of Soon Tofu soups, then give this place a try. This place did not hit the right spot from a value to price ratio. With a limited menu, I won't be coming back.

Food was good.However, waited 50 minutes for our food to arrive. Was told 40 minutes in that they forgot our order.Chicken is a rip off it was $14 for such a small portion. Look at the picture.Again, my pork bone soup was pretty ok and the chicken was ok but the service was bad and the price was unjustified. At least offer something for free or offer a slight discount for the mess up.

Good portion and reasonable price. This location has more varieties compare to the younge street location. Also tons of parking.

This place is a hidden gem, we didn’t even know there was a restaurant in this plaza as I never been inside but always passed by it. They’re very friendly and we got served right away. The boneless fried chicken was really good . ( Soy garlic) . We got the kimchi fried rice and bibimbap. You can also ask for more spice for the kimchi fried rice. Definitely will come back here to try other food on the menu!!
