As a member of the NSAS we were given a 'behind the scenes' tour of the facility. Its amazing to see the amount of historical data and items catalogued there. Thank heavens we have a place like this!

Glimpses into the past accompanied with vital historical information. I can stare at some of those old photographs for hours. Thanks for all the great work you do!

The staff are super friendly, getting signed up was super easy and free, good and/or drink not allowed past the lobby, there are lockers for you belongings (staff will assign you a lock when you go in), you may only bring books, pencils, pen, computer, cellphone etc. Upstairs to do research. No bags, coats, food/drink. Not much street parking available.

This is the site to use to get some great information from the past. Great to see marriage/death/birth records.

Really professional staff, friendly, polite and curtious. Couldn't find the information I was looking for, but was politely directed on how to pursue it online. Thank you staff!

Very nice staff who are always there to answer questions, and help guide you in your research. Parking is the only drawback.

Upon arrival, all visitors and researchers are required to register at the first floor Reception Desk. Registration is a brief process which includes reading the Information and Procedures for Researchers, filling out and signing a Researcher Registration Form, and providing appropriate personal identification such as a driver’s license or other photo and address-bearing official identification. Researcher cards do not expire, and you must wear them visibly on the research floor.
