Superior Propane

These guys are a bit of a joke. I finally had to change companies to ensure I didn’t run out of propane. They are very unresponsive to emails and inquiries, and in December last year they finally replied back to multiple refill request saying they couldn’t guarantee a refill in under 3 weeks. That’s concerning as we need them for our home heat!I felt forced to change providers and then they informed me of a $250 tank pick up fee. So be aware of this if you are considering them.After some back and forth they agreed to waive the $250 pick up charge, but didn’t mention they were also not going to credit me for the $50 in fuel that remained. They know I won’t take action over $50, but it is pretty slimy for a company this size. I moved companies because they were unreliable and causing us unneeded stress. Given they weren’t meeting an acceptable service standard, I don’t see why they should be requesting a pickup fee, nor do I see why they shouldn’t be refunding me for remaining fuel. But that’s their prerogative.

Once again delivery was made quickly and quietly. Received advance notice when truck was coming and it came as expected. Equipment is new and driver as I mentioned before is very efficient and polite and oh yeah - like a ninja. Never hear him lol. Always fast friendly and on time.

I have to go outside with a hairdryer and thaw the regulator for 3 minutes if i want the furnace to turn on once. It will not reignite unless i go out with the hairdryer. I have jerry rigged a heat line around the regulator to thaw it and made a insulated hat to sit on top to keep the warmth in and it used to be enough but then it stopped working. So i lined the housing the regulator is in with a fleece blanket. That helped for a bit, but now with all that i still have to go thaw it every time now. Before all of this rigging, we called and said the regulator is freezing and their response was oh yeah that does happen doesnt it?" So were left trying stuff by ourselves. They have never once refilled our propane on time and this actually caused plumbing to freeze on one occasion leading to a flood and the ceiling needing to be redone in a bedroom. The best day of my year will be when i see the trucks taking away their inferior propane tanks. Im cold"

Terrible customer service. They are all talk no action. They never come when they say they will. Also we ran out of propane and they say if you low call and they will help you out, but it’s all lip service. They were supposed to be here two days ago and when I call they agree it was supposed to be delivered two days ago and then they try to get ahold of the dispatcher which they can never get ahold of. Then they say they will call back but never do. Horrible middle of winter and I have no heat or hot water. Cannot wait to move to natural gas when it’s available here, so I don’t need to deal with their horrible customer service.

My original supplier of propane was brand name but failed to keep me posted on tank levels, fluctuations in price, and delivery was not always as promised on given dates. Superior Propane has eliminated all of these concerns, and I would definitely recommend them as a supplier

I’m never out of propane and don’t have to double check our levels. The new monitoring tools are fantastic

Charing me double and this is the second time my propane has run out. They promised to fill it BY the 14th of December. It is now the 21st. They could have easily filled it before it snowed.I have no idea what this company is doing.
