Chartwell Waterford Retirement Residence

My parents moved to Chartwell Waterford about 2 months ago after living in their home for 50 years. The move was understandably a big transition for them but they have settled in nicely to their new home and are enjoying the benefits of living in such a supportive environment. The communication between management and relatives of the residents has been excellent and I feel that the people working there are genuine in their interest in taking the best care of the residents that live there. The Waterford building, resident suites, and public areas are always kept clean and look well cared for. I am very happy that my parents are there and I know that my parents are happy that they made the move.

It is never easy to move a parent into memory care, but I feel so lucky we found Chartwell Waterford. The staff are so friendly, and my mom is so well taken care of. I pop in at all different times and often see Laurie the coordinator in chatting with the clients and Cassidy the activities coordinator is fantastic and has activities all day long. I am so happy to see my mom participating and enjoying herself.

In December of 2022, our family made the very difficult decision to place our 95 year old father in the Memory Living section. Laurie Hunter, the Retirement Living Consultant, was excellent in answering all our questions and concerns with her outstanding communication skills and expertise. Any inquiries have been answered immediately and actions undertaken when needed.All the staff in Memory Living have been wonderful! Their kind, patient and considerate interactions with my father have made the transition less stressful and easy. You can tell that the caregivers are very sincere in wanting the very best for your loved one.I highly recommend Chartwell Waterford Memory Living. It gives me great comfort to know my father is well taken care of!

Chartwell Waterford is a wonderful place. all of the are so friendly and kind. I would highly recommend it to everyone whose parents are ready to leave the stress of daily life and simply enjoy each day as it unfolds. Residents are always happy with the activities and music entertainment. they will dance and sing along with it with the music.

Our team at Linx has worked closely with Tina and her Managers for keeping optimum quality of care throughout. I was trained and hired at Chartwell Waterford retirement residence on the memory living wing. I just want to say that it has been an amazing experience. The best part about working here was the residents which always put a smile on my face. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to be trained. I learned so much from the front line staff here. I found everyone at Chartwell to be very hard working, caring and considerate. I want to especially say my thanks to the memory living manager, Francesca. She, gave me my first job as a guest attendant and taught me so much. I’m grateful to her and everyone else at Chartwell for guiding me in my journey as a new PSW.

I worked here at Chartwell as food server and it was a good experience .Residents and the staff are all wonderful as a matter of fact my daughter and husband are still working here and they both love it. Chartwell Waterford is a good place to live and to work.

My dad has been @Waterford since late 2021. The facilities are excellent, there are numerous activities and the staff are wonderful and caring. Both my dad & I are extremely happy that we chose Waterford Retirement Residence. I highly recommend Waterford for anyone looking for a fantastic retirement home.

I needed to find a new retirement facility for my older brother with a short timeline and chose Chartwell Waterford. Looking back, it was an excellent choice because the staff were very helpful and informative. My brother is now very comfortable and safe in his new home and every day I visit him I am very impressed with his care givers.
