Meet Fresh (Markham)

Got the fruit shaved ice. Quantity is good but the flavor not great. Good ambiance and good place to hang out with friends.

Have been to different locations. This one is in Unionville. If you like Taiwanese desserts you will like this place. They have a variety of desserts and drinks to choose from.The peanut and red bean is god but the tofu pudding and sauce had no flavour.The tapioca balls are decent.Would go back and try other desserts the next time I have a craving.

Their desserts are really delicious. They remind me of Taiwan whenever I eat there. The fruits and all ingredients taste fresh. The staff are friendly. The shaved ice has so much flavour. I assume they mix it into the ice directly. The strawberry and mango shaved ice is a seasonal item. The vibe and design are spot on as well.

In celebrating a friend's birthday, we ended up at Meet Fresh, a place I've never been to before. Her birthday, her choice. I was willing to try something new.There were so many choices, I had no idea what to order. We ended up with the Q Mochi Milk Shaved Ice. What we got was a mountain of shaved ice, topped with various garnishes that I don't know the names of. It was definitely large and yummy looking!Being new to this, I tried every component of the dish and it was all delicious without being too sweet! There were different textures and flavours that all blended well together. Very nice but it was too much for us to finish it!I would come back to try more of their offerings as long as I have somebody to guide me on what to order.

It's classic Taiwanese shaved ice dessert, bring me back home. I like taro but wish it was not that mashy and can still be able to taste some bite size taro.

Considering how crowded this plaza gets and how small most of the units are, there's a decent amount of seating. A typical Taiwanese dessert shop with most of what you'd expect on the menu.I got the Hot Almond Soup #1 and found all of the inclusions to be quite delicious and fresh. If anything, I appreciate that both the tapioca and qq (taro balls) were soft, rather than tough or overly chewy.However, the soup tasted a little on the watery side, and I felt that they skimped on toppings as I had to scoop pretty deep into my bowl to make the toppings visible at all.All in all though, still a solid place to go that offers some variety of desserts to choose from at a fair price.

Very disappointing first experience at Meet Fresh Markham. First of all, very misleading photo on the menu for Brown Sugar milk shaved ice. Look at the amount of toppings received compared to the menu photo. Secondly, the “milk shaved ice” is not milky at all. It feels like regular water crushed ice, like a snow cone. Based on this, I do not recommend this as Markham has many other delicious dessert places.

We got their Signature Icy Grass Jelly and Tofu Pudding No. 1. Signature Icy Grass Jelly came in a HUGE bowl of Grass Jelly, layered with Herbal blended Slush, topped with chewy Taro Balls, Evaporated Milk, it was so refreshing, the perfect sweetness and such a fun texture! Tofu Pudding No. 1 had a Brown Sugar broth, it had Tofu Pudding that could be silky-er, but paired with Mung Bean, Barley, and an icy sweet broth, it still made a good dessert!
