Canadian Tire

Customer service is terrible. They have these buttons you push for Customer service for items that are locked up in display cases. Customers push the button and staff is paged over the intercom and everyone including customers can hear it. The problem is one has to wait and wait and wait for long periods of time. If a customer gets tired of waiting and seeks out an employee for assistance generally are told that isn't my department but I can send someone over" then the customers have to continue to wait. Often they have to wait so long that the button stops flashing and the customers have to push the button a second time and continue to wait. It is then that help generally arrives but be prepared for the employee to know nothing about the product. Customer service at this store is atrocious. One can travel 45 minutes away to Dawson Creek and go to Canadian Tire there and customer service is great. Just a warning if on a time frame do NOT shop Canadian Tire in Fort St John unless you can't find your product elsewhere"

Customer service was terrible. Asked for help getting a large item to my vehicle after I bought online for curbside pickup. Was told by the lady she couldn't, because she was by herself, yet I could see 2 other employees in close range. When I asked for a manager she opened the door and told the young employee (10 feet away) to help. Spoke to head office and nothing. Will definitely be the last time

Tried the new on-line order process. It's not so hot. Just know that you should park at the far end of the building if doing this and avoid having to walk the entire length of the store only to get locked out by those stupid auto panels that won't let you walk back through the store with your purchase. So, you will have to walk outside on poorly maintained snow removal. The QR code scanner doesn't work. There are no signs pointing the way to where the lockers are, and when it says Show Staff" your QR code

OK, so I went to buy a rising table saw stand. The only one box was badly mangled, and the contents didn't seem to be all there. The managers were top notched and helped me to reconcile every nut and bolt. These guys went out of their way to help me great job Canadian tire Fort St John.

Returned a purchase that was defective, easy exchange, courteous staff at customer service desk. There are some good people working at this store, just rarely seen. Constant staff turnover. Mostly stocked shelves, too few helpful staff. Nice selection of Canadian Tire products. Handicapped parking stalls, poorly marked, are usually taken by non handicapped. Not impressed.

I love being able to search online to find the right aisle number for whatever I am looking for. This location is always clean and well organized, the staff are also friendly and helpful.

DO NOT trust Canada’s GarageMy daughter took her car (2018 Nissan Rogue) into Canadian Tire (Fort St John) for an oil change January 28/2023. Canadian Tire advertises to be Canada's Garage" and for this simple maintenance we figured why not? Well... She drove the car around town for a few weeks

I bought this shark slide it was marked at 12.99 they charged me 16.99 for it I went to customer service to get the difference back and they would not help me, they said the price of the item does not Match the shelf price so they can not do anything about it. I expect walmart to have miss priced items, bad service, and poor Attitudes not Canadian tire.
