Staff was very friendly which was the only reason I gave it a two. The room looked to be falling apart. The first clue was given to us, then when we asked for a hint later on we discovered we were supposed to have a flashight that we weren’t given which made us waste a ton of time. In the next room the equipment for one of the clues didn’t work so we wasted even more time. Overall very frustrating. I have been to 4 different escape locations this was my least favorite. I won’t go back for the other rooms.

Called yesterday and made a reservation for 9pm. Five minutes later received a call from them, they changed the time to 9:45. Arrived at 9:35, doors were locked. Called them, the male on the line (assuming the owner) said he will call his staff and find out what happened. Staff apparently assumed there were no more bookings for the day, and left at 9:30 (even though their hours of operation show 12 am closing time, and that we had a booking at 9:45 pm). The man on the phone offered to drive from Richmond Hill, but I had work the following day at 8am so we declined. Very odd situation...this is not how a business should operate. Would not recommend.

We've tried other room escape places and this was by far the best one we've done. We did the Egyptian/Pyramid theme last night. The guys were very friendly and we were amazed that one of them actually designed the game! It was excellent and hi-tech....very immersive experience.We'll definitely be returning when the next theme comes out....thanks for a great game.

Disclaimer: this is my first and only escape room experience.I went to this escape room for a work function (we were a group of 7). We did the ancient Egypt room. The mechanisms and automation of the puzzles added a lot to the experience - it was neat to have a door automatically open once a puzzle was solved. It was probably the coolest part of the whole thing. Some of the mechanisms were actually quite complex, to the point where I thought that couldn't possibly be the way to solve the puzzle (can't really explain without giving away hints).At one point we were given an unsolicited hint (right when it seemed like one of our party members was on the verge of getting it). That's the reason I removed a star, it would have been nice to get through on completely on our own. They also gave us the first hint (which puzzle to solve first). I didn't really think that was necessary either. If it makes a difference to you, I suggest specifically asking for no hints up front.I noticed some other reviews talk about the condition of some of the decor (tears in the wallpaper, static in the walkie-talkies, etc.). Although it wasn't in the best condition, it didn't really detract from the experience, nor did it impede our ability to solve the puzzles.Overall, it was a lot of fun.

Great experience here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing us to try the old room while we waited for our choice to become available. Had a great time solving the puzzle and the room was really well put together. Lots of great props, surprised and enough fun to make it a good time.

I been to 4 different places that offer escape rooms, so I can say this was one of the nice ones I been to (did the mummy and annabelle). The new rooms were nice, although I think some props, some writings, and some finer details could be improved on to enhance the experience. Great customer service , although there was a unfortunate technological failure in one of the steps we were compensated and we returned the business to them again just because how management handled it. The technology was very nice, and the experience was great overall. The puzzle levels are more logical compared to some other places I been to, but i thought just a slightly bit easy so maybe a slight increase in challenge for their new designs can make it more work for the mind. Overall I do recommend it.

Don't bother going here.I'm surprised to see that this place is rated so highly after visiting it myself. This place is an absolute joke, and a rip off for $25 per person.The room that we chose (the Egypt room) was cheap and run down. The staff obviously didn't care whether or not we were enjoying ourselves and was trying to rush us through so the next group can come in.Wallpaper was peeling, all of the equipment and props were broken or worn out and the actual puzzles themselves were pathetic. They range from insultingly easy (match the colours, point a laser pointer at a target 10 times) to impossible to solve without searching the internet (knowledge of Eastern Arabic numerals).Whoever designed these places and thought that a Super Mario dubstep remix should have been included in an ancient Egyptian tomb escape room should be fired because that is what was playing while we had to navigate our way through a laser field (which also didn't work).Omescape Markham is literally on the other side of the road and a much more entertaining, cleaner and more immersive option if you want an escape room in the area. Otherwise, just stay at home and try to escape from a locked bathroom with the lights off for a more enjoyable and challenging experience.

We had a great time!!! The staff was fun and helpful, and the rooms were really well done!! It's tough but not impossible, which makes it great for a team building event or if you and your friends or family love a good challenge!

We did the kidnap room. After the fire tragedy in Poland in which people were killed because there was no emergency exit, I would have thought that this room would be closed or altered. We were handcuffed and placed behind four locked doors. We were not told of an emergency exit. This was after we were told that there are no cameras inside. We should have left...but the urge to do an escape was too great I guess.On top of that, the room is worn down, including exposed mechanics...and it was strangely silent (no background music). There was more searching than puzzle solving. But we did have fun. There were some neat ideas that if updated could be part of a great room. So a couple stars for that. It sounds like their other rooms are newer and hopefully safer!

We’ve been to a number of rooms across the GTA. I’d probably rank this place at the bottom of the list. The room was ok. Some puzzles were decent but for the most part, it wasn’t incredibly challenging - the puzzles were pretty basic and one of them was even broken and not in operation, but they had left the clue up so we spent a while trying to figure out something that actually didn’t do anything. Staff was polite but totally unenthusiastic. We completed the room, came out and one person was sleeping at the front desk. The other passed us to go clean up the room and didn’t acknowledge us (no congratulations or even a “thanks for coming”). At $25 a person (which was the discounted price because we paid cash), I feel like we totally wasted our time and money.
