great deals. clean. big store and good options. but staff needs more diversity

I had the worst shopping experiance at this giant tiger.I went shopping there yesterday with my two children and the minute I walked in I had two staff immediatly start to follow me around.And not discreatly either.Im talking almost tripping on our heels.Totally uncalled for behaviour.I proceeded to shop around trying my best to ignore this extreamly rude treatment.I had put several items in my cart and my 6 year old son wanted to eat one of the cookies from the box of cookies I had put in my cart so I let him open the box and eat one and almost immediatly I had SEVERAL staff come up to me and rudely tell me that I have to go pay for the cookies if my son was going to eat them.I explained that I was obviously shopping and was planning on paying for the cookies and the one woman says to me,well you have to pay before you eat.Its like a McDonalds.You cant go in to mc Donald's and eat before you pay.By this time I had about half a cart full of stuff.I couldnt believe it.I was completely shocked.Why was I being targeted?Because my son ate a cookie.I went to the cash and paid for the box of cookies and then went back to shop and by this time i think every employee was in the vacinty looking at me like i was a thief.I couldnt believe it.I have never been so insulted or made to feel so horrible.I would have walked out at that moment but i had a basket full of stuff and felt obligated to pay for it even though i shouldnt have.I then went to pay for what I had.I spent almost $100 and i would have definitely spent more had I not been treated the way I was over a box of cookies!Worst shopping experiance ever!I will never ever shop at that store again!Horrible staff!I was obviously singled out and targeted and it makes me wonder why.It makes me wonder if it's because I'm English?I was speaking to my children when I walked in and then I was immediatly shadowed.Im curious to know if there has been any other english or anyone else that has had a similar experiance at this particular store???

Ample parking.decent carts. Wide enough aisles. Nice staff. Fair prices, occasional bargains. Shop there 2-3 times/ month

Hope it never moves out of the place it's at now. It's always such reasonable prices on anything in the store. Great employees and Super Great Store Manager!

My wife love gt..It's not bad and their prices are descent for the quality you get

There is a lot of product within the store but depending on what u want or need, clothing not so much.

Organized and always fully stocked. Fresh and dry foods. Clothing for all. Home decore. Cleaning and hygienic supplies. Friendly staff

Okay place but it have no gelatine l.

Always friendly, always someone who speaks English as well as French. Good selection and they carry some fresh produce too.
