Designer Ceremonies - Wedding Officiants

I attended a wedding officiated by Wanda dobsin. It was at the Brock house on Jericho Beach in Vancouver on probably the most beautiful summer evening ever. Unfortunately most everyone missed it because they had fallen asleep listening to her drone on about nothing. Even after being asked to keep it short and keep it non religious, she made it completely her own show. The guests started to have their own conversations about the seagull on the beach being eaten by a seal, the Vancouver Canucks, politics etc. Completely drowning out the ceremony. The wedding party was getting extremely fidgety and it was very clear that the groom had to go to the bathroom. I would not recommend this lady at all.

Kevan officiated our wedding at Riverway Clubhouse in Burnaby in June 2019 and did a fabulous job. I for one was concerned about any officiant conducting our very cultural wedding ceremony which included a Persian, Chinese and Western ceremony! However, Kevan showed confidence, eagerness and professionalism as well as patience when guiding us through the whole process. We found Kevan to be very open-minded, genuine and embraced all our ideas. Our non-traditional ceremony was unique and exactly what we wanted. We would absolutely recommend Kevan Dobsin

We loved Kevan a lot. He was very helpful from the beginning. A specially this busy season.He was the only one we actually could reach and talk to.Others wouldn't even return our calls. We had a very small but beautiful ceremony at Stanley Park. Thank you very much Kevan !!!

Kevan took the time to get to know our relationship and how it all started up to the day of the proposal. He was very professional and made the ceremony super unique. The guests really enjoyed our ceremony because it was unique to us! Highly recommended!

We found Kevan on weddingwire.caThe praise we have for him is greater than could ever be contained in a review, but I'll give it a go - asking Kevan on board for our ceremony was a no-brainer as soon as we met him. He's warm, thoughtful, and clearly has a lot of heart. From that first meeting, he certainly knew us well enough to lead a beautiful ceremony. But we later signed up for private pre-marriage coaching and he really got to know us and our relationship. This was evident after our ceremony, as many of our guests assumed Kevan was a family member of ours who had agreed to officiate :) He made our ceremony a very intimate one, as our teary guests also attest. I cannot promise such an experience to everyone, but I can assure you (as is clear from the other reviews here) that Kevan will strive to get to know you as a couple and tailor the ceremony as you wish to help make that big day as special as it should be.
