Poor Customer Service. went for Mother's day dinner with friends, food took a long time to come out and when it did, my wife's dinner was wrong. Took over 5 minutes to get someone's attention and then another 5 minutes for our waiter to come over, no apology for the mistake and then it took 15 minutes to get her correct meal out. My dinner was also missing the side salad that came with it and that took 10 minutes more to come out and while our friend was eating their meal she found a rubber band in her food, which she did not bring to the waiters attention because he was nowhere to be found. I liked Guanajauto at there old location, but not impressed with their current service, don't think there is any reason to go back.

Incredibly Delicious! Enchiladas Margarita Two green sauce enchiladas filled with chicken. Garnish with baby arugula, avocado, red onion, cotija cheese and sour cream. And then Tres Leches for dessert, yummy!!

I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a lunch at this restaurant. The menu offers a wide variety of mouthwatering Mexican dishes. If you visit, I highly recommend indulging in their beef and shrimp fajitas - they were absolutely delicious. Don't forget to save room for dessert because they are both delicious and generously portioned.To complement my meal, I ordered a mango margarita, and it was simply divine. The refreshing and tangy taste perfectly complemented the flavors of my meal, elevating my dining experience to new heights.The modern decor combined with traditional Mexican elements creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.Recommend this place!

Excellent, definitely will go back. It was very cold that day but they have, in addition to indoor dining, outdoor heated glass cubicles, which can seat up to 6 to 8 people, so covid protection is excellent.

Terrible service. We ordered for delivery through their site, 40 min AFTER when it should have arrived we called and they said oh it hasn't left the restaurant yet". So we drove to pick it up and no one would help remove the delivery fee/tip and the food was freezing because it was sitting on the shelf for over half an hour."

I guess being contemporary in their language means rude. We waited for acknowledgment by any of the three stuffers at the patio where only two tables were occupied...it did not happen...we left...there are better places with much more friendly stuff!

We went to eat yesterday the food was OKAY. But there are lot more restaurants here in Chicago that has more delicious food than what they serve. The server guy which is hispanic with round face knocked down the water in the table, at 1st I thought it was my husband's fault that's why it was knocked out but my husband's explanation was the elbow of the server hit the glass of water with a lot of ice in it. So my point here is the server didn't say any Sorry or ask any apology...for my family to have a quite lunch my husband just wipe the table and the water spill on his clothes and pants and just wipe it down finished the food even he is wet then go home after. The server is kinda rude for not asking sorry and his face looks disgusted for what happened but it was his fault. I'm hoping next time they need to be careful moving the table or serving foods and be considerate. Thank you. Also all the staff should know the good manners and right conduct. That's all.

Guanajuato was outstanding! Great service complemented with delicious Mexican fare. Really good margaritas and guacamole were a great start. The highlight though is the enchiladas, amazing. The combo platter is a great option to try different foods, as all were excellent. Do not skip dessert as the tres leches strawberry cake and churros with ice cream are fantastic finishes.
