For your basic/beginner art needs it's good but there isn't a big variety of different brands or materials. It's a bit dark in there. And not very well stocked but that could be a supply chain issue as everyone is dealing with that right now. Hard to find prices of certain things. I was looking for Holbein gouache paint and coloured pencils but they don't carry that brand. Just not the best option out there.

This store has a large selection of artistic supplies. It can be hard to navigate, but the staff is always helpful and knowledgeable. 4 stars only because it can be a bit messy and disorganized. Prices are reasonable and competitive. Hoghly reccomend.

The owner of this place was very kind. Their art products were properly organized and you can easily the art items you might need. The prices were also good! I like the dynamic ambiance of the place and it made me so excited to shop for art supplies. You can find various colors of high-quality acrylic paints.

The prices are reasonable, lots of things are on sale, the employee was very cheerful and helped me with all the products I inquired about, he was patient and explained to me the difference between water mixable oil color paint and the oil paint, definitely recommend this store with displays that show how paint colors and medium look like on real canvas.

I love this place so much! It's owned by a father and son, and Ken and Nathan are two of the nicest, warmest, and most knowledgeable people you would ever want to meet. The shop is very well-stocked, and I've never had trouble finding everything I need--and far more! There's a genuine warmth to the place, a real feeling of friendliness, belonging, and inspiration even for the most fledgeling student, and a lovely whimsy (when I last I went in they were having a colour-of-the-month 'purple' sale)--the atmosphere feels to me like a magical shop in a Harry Potter novel. Not to mention that their prices are the best around! Not an ounce of pretension. Friendly, engaging staff. Absolutely welcoming. I'm so glad this wonderful store is in my city.

Kind of looks like a tornado hit it. Staff is nice and polite, but they sold my liquid latex that was already hardened when I opened it. They told me on the phone that they would accept the return however, so that's not an issue. Just a bit inconvenient to have to go back. I'd recommend they check their stocks more often for things like this. I imagine that would be easier if it were a bit more organized.

My daughter received a gift card from this place at Xmas...located south of Whyte Ave and Calgary trail south..Almost missed where to park..This store carries alot in a small space, more authentic than your traditional michaels... some of the sale signage was old... the owner/ gentleman working there seemed pleasant...FYI: they offer student discounts!

I'd give 10 stars if I could. This place is awesome! One day when I don't have my bike with me I'm gonna have to come in and just look around for an hour or so, from what I saw they have literally everything an artist could need, and the staff is super friendly and willing to help you find anything you might need and give you some tips. And the best price on Snazaroo face paint cakes I've found in the entire city!
