The Stop Community Food Centre

Great Place. HOT MEALS. Bingo. Good bank.A male cooking Group.

I actually can't say anything specific about this place as when I visited it yesterday, it was closed.

It's a Friday and The Stop closes at 3pm.. I was running 10/15 mins behind and my phone service was shut off prior that morning due to non payment.. I had taken ttc and was at Dundas West using wifi to make a phone call to The Stop.. I had started calling 250 pm. I did not get through tell 2:58 pm.. Once I got through, the frist lady tried to reach out to the foodbank for me.. I explain I am 10 mins away and am a bit behind but I was wondering if it possile to still access the foodbank.. The lady seemed to think this might be ok as she asked do I have an account with them and asked my name. She had put me on hold and spoke with the foodbank and passed me over .. Soon as I was on the phone with a lady from the foodbank states right away food bank closed.. foodbank close at 3pm.." I try to explain that I know it is

Is a place you feel as family, help u, went I am specting baby help me alot in all my process. Is a good place to meet others cultures. And people.

Wonderful food bank, let's you pick from many choices...including fresh veg + meat!The free lunch is good, healthy and served you at the table, with fresh flowers and a movie! (Bring your own container!)Wonderful place with advocates to help you with almost any problem. A 10 in my book!

Great volunteer, resource atmosphere

Extraordinary - all angels walking on this planet. I volunteer to pick up food from here for others who cannot attend, and am always treated generously, kindy, warmly. They all should receive the country's thanks for their service to humanity.

Maintain your pride in this well-attended food bank. Hampers are available to residents in the catchment area once a month, but breakfast (9:00 - 10:00) and lunch (12:00-13:00) is available Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Bring your identification (I used my drivers license with my old address and a PDF of my phone bill with my current address) to the super-friendly volunteers at the reception desk. They’ll issue you a member card good for the year to collect your hamper. Volunteers and staff members are sensitive to dietary restrictions and observances. Status update: 2021-09-20 the breakfast and lunch programs are on hold due to the COVID-19 protocols. Too bad - this was an awesome service for the community. Please get vaccinated so we can eradicate this virus and get back to community meals! Please note there are a number of other programs available for the community to access.
