Dollarama

Needed a hair brush, bought one here. Came complete with hair. Haven't used it yet. Will need to clean and sanitize before use. Bristles were turned to the inside of the box so it wasn't visible when purchased. I know it's a dollar store but come on.

Came in last night to buy some cookies. Purchased, and after getting home I noticed there was a bug inside of the actual plastic that separated the cookies. Brought it back into the store and asked to exchange for something of equal value. Then I started realizing there were products on the shelf with a best before date of 2018. I took a picture of an example but we also found marshmallows that expired in November 2018 and were moist and gunky like they had sat in the sun for three days. Absolutely disgusting, they should not be selling EXPIRED food!!! I only buy food from here if it's candies and some cookies but buyer beware!

Excellent service. Great selection of art supplies (acrylic paint available in every primary colour! I know that doesnt sound like a big deal, but the Dollarama in my neighborhood didnt have black last week so this is totally a big deal to me).I guess my only 1 star off is because of the general issue ive had with Dollarama as an organization, unrelated to this location. I have previously purchased items that turned out to be of terrible quality (like a hole puncher that broke down after a few gentle uses). That incident made me more weary of purchasing items unless they are out in the open (so i can inspect them without going through a plastic package). I had asked an associate at a different location if they can open thE package of a different item for me to inspect, and they regurgitated the no-return/no-exchange police in the most robotic manner.I still love how affordable dollarama is, however i would stick only to basic art supplies (perfect for at DIY paint night" with friends

2023 April 4★Located in a busy plaza, this store is an anchor tenant offering discount goods. It certainly complements the No Frills within the same plaza.Inside, the aisles are narrow but manageable. Lots of goods line the walls and shelves. A great variety given the price. While not everything is cheap, it is a good value.Lots of parking. Covered walkway along the storefront.

Very unprofessional staff who shows poor attitude as well as lack of proper training. They’re making up their own policies when it doesn’t even exist on the Dollarama website or FAQ. I would assume it’s discrimination and unjust due to lack of professional training and work experience. Dollarama is still a great store, maybe some staffs just aren’t building a good reputation for the store and brand. Overall horrible experience at this store and won’t be coming again.
