I hate to do this but I am so frustrated. I have been calling and I even sent in a request but no answer. I came on Friday and I complained about my bathroom because I expected to come into a clean and tidy bathroom but instead I came into a very dirty bathroom with a clogged sink. I have called and sent in request but no one has gotten back to me. I am still unable to use my bathroom and I am not cleaning it because I should not move in to a dirty bathroom especially the fact I paid the rent even though I was not present so my room should have been locked and it was not because one of my roommates could access it and take my table. I was told this place was a clean space, it was not and not only that the lobby toilet was not better because I had to use it since my own was so bad. The toilets look like they have not be cleaned in months. I am wondering how you even opened the place for moving in. This is very disappointing. I NEED my bathroom cleaned. This is so unfair, I have had to use peoples washrooms to bath because of the lack of response I am getting. I was even told that some flat mates had to clean the apartment because the former occupants did not clean out. Why are we even moving in to a place that is not cleaned out. That is not what we signed up for when we signed the lease. We wanted a clean and safe space to live not a dirty toilet. This service is so annoying. I really hope you guys do better. The service is so poor and there is no security on the property at least no that I have seen.

ceiling leakMy ceiling has been leaking for over 2 months. I’ve made multiple service requests and nothing has been done. My clothes, bags and shoes have been damaged because of this. The leak has left a nasty residue on my floors. I’m extremely frustrated because I have been very patient just for no one to fix the issue. I have tried cleaning the residue but there is no use as the leak is still ongoing and I do not want to waste my energy. The leak has also multiplied and is now coming out of 3 holes. I can’t close my door because of it. The residue is so nasty and makes my skin crawl just by the sight of it. I don’t understand why I’m paying so much just to have an unknown liquids seep into my apartment. That’s not what I signed the lease for. I have endured this for over 2 months and it’s mentally exhausting.

The rooms are big and the price is very reasonable. Maintenance is good and they answer emails fast. The location is also perfect for Laurier and Waterloo students.

The apartments and suites are decent, however the management is very disappointing to say the least. They take very long to respond to assistance and are messy and unaccommodating when going about business with tenants. Overall, it is an okay place to live but it can be very difficult under the management.

Rooms are big and price is decent , location is pretty good.Management is a hit or miss - half the time management office is locked and no ones inside. If you can reach management they are fairly nice ; catch is if you can reach them in the first place. Contacted them by email once and another building responded instead which was really weird.Maintenance requests are alright - some take a while while some are done fairly quickly.Units are not cleaned up prior to move in - I have previous tenants belongings in my living room and I had a roach problem (though they contacted pest control quite quickly albeit after a couple of emails)Overall not a terrible place ; price is decent for the room size and the soundproofing is pretty good. Kitchens are really dated . Biggest issue is management.

Place is decent itself but that's about it, if you have any issues/concerns and need to deal with management, then you are in for a long haul. Firstly, their maintenance guys are nice as far as I have dealt with but don't really know what they are doing. They dropped by when I was not in my apartment but had the wrong room password and needed to call me. The worst part of all is that their management is usually MIA, very inconsiderate (they are only in it for the profits and want to get you out of there asap) and possibly dishonest.For current tenants, they claim that it takes them 2 months to process your cheque and you will receive it in the mail. For mine, I called them after 2 months and they told me that they were scared of sending your cheque to the wrong address cause there was a lot of confusion with it". If that's OUR cheque to begin with and they had confusion

I've lived here for a few years now and have loved it! the rooms are very spacious and its in a great location. Anytime I've had to contact maintenance they were nice and accommodating :)

It has been a very positive experience dealing with the staff at Preston House and Bridgeport House. Our point of contact Maddy has always been very responsive and has provided excellent customer service. When the staff are busy and cant take a call they always respond with a very quick text message and follow up with a phone call as soon as possible. Their response times are fantastic making communication with them very easy.They have taken the time to answer all our questions and provide detailed feedback. I can definitely highly recommend reaching out to this group when considering student housing.

I am a tenant who have lived for about one year and recently my sink was blocked. I want to thank one of the maintenance guy, Kevin, he was so nice, professional and helpful. My sink was gross and it was my fault. He was kind and comforted me. He helped me to not only plumb the tunnel, but also clean the sink, and he even helped me to clean the mirror! Now my sink is brand new. He was so patient and warm who really makes me want to stay in this apartment with such good tenant service.

Lived at Preston House for 8 months during the 2020-2021 school year. Definitely one of the better apartments I've stayed throughout my 3 years of uni so far.Pros:- Large bedrooms w/ floor to ceiling windows, double bed, closet and ensuite washroom-large common area- Wifi is pretty good, ethernet plug in bedroom you can connect to- Lots of cabinets/ storage-extra small freezerCons:- Maintenance (requests didn't get fixed, 2 lights died out in the hallway and in my room, filed a request and it didn't get fixed even once I moved out)-no oven (wasn't a big deal for me though, place comes with a small toaster oven)I honestly enjoyed my time at Preston House overall. It's in a really good location especially for Laurier students. The rooms are nice and spacious. If you have any issues, I recommend going to the front desk and asking, and if you do that they usually are able to fix small problems fairly quickly. I can't really comment on management because they recently got new management and a new company has taken over.
