Fraser Heights Animal Hospital

I have been taking my pets to Gary Smith and his team of Vets and staff at Fraser Heights since he first opened it and to Allondale prior to that when it was owned by Gary Smith. Now that Gary has retired I still take my pets to Fraser Heights and Cindy Duff who has been my Molly's vet since she was a baby. Even though I have moved out of the Surrey area, I would not go to another Vet and make the drive to continue with Fraser Heights as I believe that they are second to none" and have provided the best care for my pets

My kitty developed crystals and had a blocked urethra. He was really sick and we thought we were going to have to put him down.Dr. Guy and his team are amazing!!Dr. Guy said that there was a procedure that could be done to unblock him and to make him feel better.He did the procedure and called to me know that Sylvester did great.We brought him in for observation for two days and each day , Guy called to let me know how Sylvester was.He is so kind and gentle and I’m so grateful for him and his team for their caring hearts for our fur babies.I would recommend this vet to anyone who was looking.Thank you.Marla Ens.

Staff is nice no doubt about this. But my cat got out of their hospital looking like he came out of an oil tank. My kitten had an ear infection and they took him inside to clean his ears. I'm not sure what products they used but my cat's furr became very sticky all around his face. I tried cleaning them in so many different ways but with no success. It's like glue that doesn't want to come out. My kitten spends his whole time licking himself yet with no success of getting this grease out of his face. His fluffy long fur is now a total mess and due to an ear infection I cannot give him a bath. Not to say that baths are a cat's favorite to begin with but I will eventually need to give him one once he's healed from the infection. I'm very disappointed considering the price I paid to give my kitten the best experience. It was a total fail for me. (Pictures of before and after attached)

This clinic is by far the most competent and compassionate clinic I have been to in the last 10 years. I have taken all my pets to see Dr. Cindy and will continue to do so as she has always given my dog Gucci and cats Pinky and Teeny the best care each time. Near Gucci’s final years when Gucci’s condition worsened, Dr. Cindy was able to make the appropriate referrals to ensure Gucci had the right diagnosis and treatment - from that, we were able to treat Gucci with appropriate medications for a little bit longer and alleviate her suffering. There is no question that Dr. Cindy really cares about animals as my pets are not friendly but were always friendly with Dr. Cindy. She is very patient and has always given me honest opinions that also consider the animal’s quality of life and welfare. Dr. Smith was also an extremely kind vet. I had a kitten emergency many many many years ago where my kittens were spontaneously not eating and they were passing away one by one due to unknown causes. Dr. Smith did everything he could to save my new born kittens especially when he knew I could not afford x-rays on each kitten. Although all the kittens ended up passing away, the compassion and effort he put in was not forgotten. Thumbs up to this amazing animal hospital! Highly recommended.

Thank you to Dr Wu and the whole team for accommodating our baby boy Benji this morning for an emergency. They were able to look after him on such short notice and relief him from the pain he was going through. He’s doing just fine and recovering!Highly knowledgable staff and will take care of all your needs.Thank you again and see you soon!

Very pleased with this hospital. Staff is really friendly. The waiting area is big and comfortable. Dr. Cindy Duff is very attentive and caring, she seems to genuinely care for the pet and she answered all my questions, no rush at all. Price is very reasonable. I’ll definitely go back.

This is Biggie. He was my life. He was injured, abandoned and scheduled to be euthanized at the age of 3 years old. The Fraser Heights Animal Hospital refused to give up on him. Dr. Duff even took him in and fostered him herself to bring him back to health. I adopted him and we had the most amazing life together with Fraser Heights Animal Hospital there throughout to offer care. Later in life he developed a tumour on his pituitary gland. We tried everything we could and he received the BEST care. I don’t know what I would have done without the kindness of the ladies working the front desk or the compassion and knowledge of Dr. Duff and other vets whom work there. They even helped me source a better price for the VERY expensive medication he required. He was in and out often and it was a really hard time for the both of us but the clinic made him and I as comfortable as we possibly could be. They were there for him his entire life and I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else.They gave him the gift of a life and me the best friend I’ve ever had.

Great animal hospital with amazing doctors and staff. Everyone is very welcoming and patient. The doctor who helped my cat, Dr. Wu, is very knowledgeable and she listens to every concern that I had about my cat. She took everything into consideration and I appreciate a doctor who listens. I would recommend her, if possible, as a doctor! In addition, the staff treated my cat really well and they seem to really enjoy their job. I would highly recommend this vet for anyone who has a cat.

My uncles have been taking their dogs Ella & Ava here for years, and taking their recommendation, I started coming here with my cat Lincoln early this year. I cannot express how positive my experience here has been. They are kind, compassionate and very understanding. From getting the right referrals, to ongoing advice and support, these vets and their staff really care. Today I was extremely concerned about Lincoln’s neuter site, and they were able to squeeze me in even though they were super busy. Even though it turned out to be just dried blood and nothing serious, I was not made to feel badly for my mistake. Thank you so much to Dr Duff, Dr Schroeder their staff here for their hard work, honesty and commitment to providing excellent pet & pet-parent care!!

Have been bringing my dogs to Fraser Heights Animal Hospital for 13 years. They are compassionate, informed and very good at what they do. While my dogs don’t love going to the vet and getting poked and prodded lol, the staff make the visits as comfortable as possible. Highly recommend them!
