Awesome gym. Sam and Rodrigo are both great instructors with their interests entirely on the students. They do not hold back on teaching techniques and advanced moves (Like a certain other gym), Everybody is friendly and easygoing and the atmosphere is great and encouraging for all belt levels and skill levels.

Best gym in Ottawa! I've been teaching BJJ there for about 5 years and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience. The environment is great, students are focused and Sam is a great instructor as well as a friend. If you want to either train casually or train to compete, this is the place in Ottawa!

Really enjoyed my year at Neak Ta. The first thing that struck me was that there are no egos. Everyone is really welcoming and friendly, and Kru Sam is such a hilarious and laid back guy. This place is perfect for beginners or more experienced athletes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great workout/martial arts training in Ottawa.

Best gym in Ottawa. The environment here is extremely welcoming, positive and ego free. The senior students are always happy to help regardless of skill level or belt color. You'll also have access to great coaches, whether you're pursuing striking and/or grappling. Sam, Rodrigo and Dmitry will help you achieve your goals. If you're on the fence, you owe yourself to at least try the free classes.

Best gym in Ottawa. I'd continue going to this gym if I lived in Ottawa. Coach Sam is very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. Everyone is welcoming at this gym. I highly recommend for all levels. I believe you can also ask for free trial classes before you decide.

I've been training here for a couple of years and absolutely love it. The instructors are very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very welcoming. Everyone at the gym is very supportive and encouraging. Whether you want to compete or just improve your fitness level, I recommend you come here!

Best gym in Ottawa. Kru Sam is very welcoming, approachable, and has a wealth of knowledge to share. In addition, the other striking coaches are fantastic, and Rodrigo teaching BJJ is amazing as well.The students/community is great and everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Senior members of the gym are quick to help beginners and without judgement.If you're still debating whether or not to join the gym, at least contact Sam and try some classes. Soon enough, this humble gym will become your home away from home.
