There are sufficient number of shops at the airport for a meal or to shop for souvenirs. Most convenient car rental with many options. Starbucks is close to the gates for easy access before your flight. There’s a lounge as well.

My most recent transit Qasim just after midnight, so it was very quiet with limited activities and shops open. The baggage claim belt was changed at the last minute, but that didn't cause any delays in getting my bags. Otherwise no real concerns.

Clean and bright airport.The only airport in Canada so far with these people mover van/buses.Lots of food options and an ok in-terminal Marriott hotel.

Things at the airport have become a little less turbulent so to speak it was a smooth and easy transition this morning although I'm sure there are times of congestion but so far so good

No info on anything no updates no maps no legends when you find maps, no instruction anywhere about toiletries or liquids. The web is way ahead of the place, get harassed at security, mile long walks from check in to gates, a real disappointment. Poor inf and no instruction makes it really bad. Tell you to arrive 2 hrs early, get a mile walk with your luggage, get harassed at security, then another mile walk to your gate, then you wait till they say your flight has been delayed an hour" feel like a hostage in this hole cause I am a smoker... Hope it's the last time I fly out of here"

In todays day and age, the waiting area near gates, has almost zero power outlets. Worst is that this airport is brand new. When flying out of Calgary International make sure bring your battery if you need to work on your laptops or need to charge a device. PATHETIC
