After lots of research, we hired Tyko to build our home. We are pleased with the workmanship and materials used in the construction of our home. Also we found Jack, Ken and Romeo good listeners and they offered many useful suggestions along the way. If the need ever arise again, we would not hesitate to use them again.

We hired Tyko to build our first ever home in 2016. I felt I was lucky to do business with Ken and Jack. They very patiently guided us throughout the building process smoothly. Jack was always there to answer all our questions and solve problems. When it came to the floor plan he was there with us to make sure the layout worked to fit our lifestyle; he was with us to choose the right materials that looked gorgeous and modern in our home. I also appreciated their suppliers like the door expert and the cabinet expert as they worked hard to make sure our house looked great. I would recommend Tyko to my friends and would have business again with them if have chance.

Had my house built by Tyko back is 2017. I shopped around for a developer and Jack was very accommodating to my needs and help me build a custom home to my needs. I had a lot of problems in the early stages of applying to the city and tearing down my house. But with Jack's help, we were able to quickly get through the city of Vancouver bureaucracy. Tyko has a very reasonable pricing and also a payment plan that really makes sense. When building a home neighbors can get very nasty about property issues. Jack had to deal with both of my neighbors and when I was losing my patience, Jack stepped in and compromise to make a solution that we would all be happy with. Even after the project was done, Jack still makes time for his clients like they are life long friends.

We compared different developers before deciding with Tyko Development. We felt they are the best fit for us.Jack and Ken are very easy and friendly to talk to. They constantly followed up every step of the way until beginning to till the end. Even after the house done. They followed through with warranty works promptly when required.They are very good answering calls and messaged in odds hours of days including middle of the night when we have questions or concerns. We felt less stressful because they are always there to help us.Best part, they try to help us stay within budget throughout the project.Jack, Ken and team are fun to work with. We would highly recommend them.

Tyko built my house in 2016/2017. Their prices were competitive and their subs were overall good to deal with. Jack and Ken are the principals. Their subs were OK to deal with in regards to extra costs as I wanted some extras (always confer with Tyko when dealing with subs). I've heard horror stories about other house developers so finding a respectable, reputable, honest one will give some peace of mind for the largest project of your life.

Jack and Ken are very experienced builders. They built my house in 2013. It was done in 7 months, within our budget, no extra cost! They followed the work day by day, to meet us and explained the progress on a weekly basis. My husband and I are highly recommend Tyko to anyone who want to build a nice and comfortable sweet home!

We spoke to many developers prior to building our house in 2015, but finally decided to go with Tyko Development. Both Jack and Ken are very knowledgeable in the field and explained each step of the process to us. They were very professional and always kept us updated throughout the entire building process through phone calls, emails and text messages. The house was completed on schedule and within our proposed budget. I have referred a couple of neighbors to have Tyko Development build their house and Laneway house. We had Tyko build our house and LWH in 2015 and would highly recommend them to others. Right off the bat, Jack and Ken had great communication that continued through the entire process. They were able to answer our many questions and helped keep our stress to a minimum. Their contract was clear and costs were as expected. I also found that they have many long term subcontractors to this day which is a good sign.I don't normally do online reviews but am happy to make an exception for Tyko!

Tyko built our Laneway House in 2017. They helped guide the complex journey every step of the way and continue to provide guidance and support years after the house was built. They will be our first contact when we build another home. We are quite happy that they back up their product and go up and above for their customers.
