Ate here on the weekend and was disappointed quite a bit since I had heard good things about the restaurant. Upon ordering, I asked for a Number 3 and the cashier had to look up at the menu and ask me what that was. That’s OK, maybe he was new? We ordered the Mix Shawarma and Grilled Kofta platters along with the Garlic Potatoes. Either way, food took about 15 minutes to arrive and another 5 minutes for the potatoes. The quality of the food was good, however the provided naan bread was small and for the same price of what you would pay at Shawarma Palace or Shawarma Passion, you get 3/5 of the food. The tables weren’t very clean but at least the staff was polite.

Easy to order! I needed a catered meal. It was ready for the time promised with a discount of 25%. Everything was a success! I would suggest an option with some hot sauces on the side as the food was very good but a little mild for some ethnicities…. :)

Food is okay, lots of selection to chose from. Wait times are absolutely horrible. Expect to wait well over half an hour for a simple order of donair sandwiches with no one in line ahead of you.

I only gave a 2 star bc the only reason why I came into this store was bc I saw a special promotion on their shakes but one get one free on instagram. When I came in asked about it the cashier had no clue I had to show proof of their promo on InstagramAlso the prices are different on their menu board on one side it says 6.99 on the other side it’s says 7.49 but I wasn’t going to debate with her although they should honour itMaybe they just lack communication on the social media side or just trying to get people in but not honouring their promoEither way I wasn’t to impressed

Incredible food and phenomenal service. The warm greeting I received created a welcoming atmosphere. The regular sized donair was huge! The staff feel incredibly attentive and the food was fabulous! I'll be back again =)

The staff were nice, and my salad was fresh and actully very good. And that's where anything good ends. Unfortunately the chicken and beef shwarma was so dry you could barley swallow it. My donair was dry and needed sweet sauce. The very long wait was not worth the food quality. Can't say I'll come back ever again..

Lava Grill operates out of the same location as Boardwalk Burgers on 32 Ave. NE. I got the mixed Shawarma plate which consisted of chicken and beef shawarma meat over rice with a side of hummus, salad and half a pita. It was $13.99 including a drink. As to quantity of food you definitely get your value. I found the meat lacked flavour and was quite dry. I expect lots of different spices but only got a hint of maybe nutmeg and clove. Service was good and I received my order in less than 10 minutes.

Mix shawarma of chicken and beef in a plate is plentiful and tastes very delicious. Also had a take out of regular shawarma and my wife loves it

Was told my family friend they’ve got good food. so I called in today and wanted the BBQ 4-5 people, and I had looked this up on the website, and on the website it says$68.00 when I called in store to order it they’re telling me it’s $100 and I told the person that answer the phone that online it says $68.00 . If you are not staying in with your prices, than change the prices that you have sent online so customer knows.
