Very friendly owner! So so nice and full of stories. We are new to Norwood and he gave us lots of great advice. Fresh food made in front of us. Even made a kids Burger for our son. The fries were so hot. He even made them just as we got there when we ordered take out so that they weren't soggy he said. What a great guy. It's too bad more people don't go there. I think because it's inconsistent with hours. We love it there. Only complaint is the milk shakes weren't that good. I prefer real fruit in milkshakes instead of syrups. Other wise great!

Took a different route and happened upon this place. Service was quick and server was extremely friendly and helpful. We all ordered different burgers with fries, everything was home made and perfect. We even had milkshakes, which were delicious too. Loved the small town feel and atmosphere. Would definitely come here again.

Be sure to stop in if you're travelling along Highway 7. Amazing burgers and fries, and a variety of other options if that's not your thing.Great food, cheerful staff, excellent service. Can't reccomend it enough.

Doesn't look like much from outside, but very friendly staff and GREAT burgers. I was pleasantly surprised. Better then a fast food chain.

Big, thick burgers. Almost too thick. They make their patties in-house and they look to be 1/2 pounders.A double banquet burger is double everything. X2 cheese, meat, and bacon.There's also an ice cream bar.Fries & gravy are ok. I prefer the onion rings.Prices are a little steep, but you get what you pay for.

Service was pretty fast, which is good when your on the road. Food was mediocre but they have Kawartha ice cream! Staff was very friendly. It's about 11bucks for a big burger with fries. Coffee was really good.

Have never waited longer for a burger, let alone a take out burger.Based purely on the near 45 minute wait for food after ordering, it gets a 1 star. Even a fabulous burger (which it wasn't) would not get this above a 2 star rating given the wait.

Happened into this place for lunch on the way up to Marmora. Got burgers and fries for the family and everything was very good - pretty sure the patties were home-made. Liked it so much we stopped for lunch there again on the way home at the end of the week. You can get walk-up service at the window or sit down inside. There are picnic tables outside and room to let your dog stretch it's legs.
